Why not feature a Spider-Girl who is related to Spider-Man x The Black Widow? Especially if she had spent most of her life in Russia fighting crime before residing with her father. That's someone who could bring some interests to the audience. The character need not be related to Mary Jane as the mother.

What was that you claimed about the characters you mentioned not being shipping?

Gotta broaden your horizon. There are more than one Spider-Girl out there related to Peter Parker, but with a different mother from a different timeline that will not coincide with Earth-616 or Earth-982.

I said that there would be no shipping for Spidey of Earth-616. However, whose to say that his alternate reality counterpart couldn't have married The Black Widow and fathered a daughter? It's just like Nightcrawler and Scarlett Witch who had a daughter together from a timeline that has no connection to Earth-616 at all. And Nightcrawler of Earth-616 has never had a relationship with Wonda as far as I know. And he's currently dead.

I actually think the current Spider-girl (Anya) has a better chance especially since she's a minority and somewhat active in publishing. Plus Quesada's Chief Creative Officer. Plus you get that will they/won't they romance aspect with Amun from the Sisterhood of the Wasp. At least I'd hope that they keep the Wasps in.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

Save your wild ideas for, perhaps you can start your own "What If?" thread.

Your idea of "Spider-Girl" is only as much "Spider-Girl" as "Spider-Man" was to Spider-Man Unlimited.

You'll notice that AUs where such a thing happened are not stories about Spidey's children or Spidey himself. They're more or less random background characters. And the stories were very finite (lasting only for a storyline or so.)

If there's ever a Spider-Girl cartoon (which I think will not happen even though I am a big proponent for the concept of female action leads and that "girls need role models"), I would think they'd want to ground it a little more in reality than "Mayday has two super hero parents, one of whom was a Russian super spy that as far as the mainstream is concerned has no relationship with Spider-Man."

(Actually, if anyone in the mainstream knows who Natasha is, I would think they'd pair her up with Hawkeye because of that big Avengers movie coming out. The Avengers EMH cartoon also played around with Clint/Natasha.)

I have seen a lot of wild ideas occur in past Spider-Man TV cartoons with characters who never appears in the mainstream comics.

The thing about the Spider-Girl related to Spider-Man and The Black Widow is that a writer could mold the character into one that is a good role model for girls and boys! Who say's that she has to have the personality of her super parents? And we don't know what role that Peter or Natasha would have in their daughter's world within that alternate timeline? And the main reason why we have never seen The Black Widow or Spider-Man working together until recently was because it never interested past writers. I would think that the Black Widow would have had a working relationship with Spider-Man as much as she does with Daredevil or Hawkeye. But they chose to not go in that direction in the mainstream continuity regarding an occasional team-up between Spider-Man and The Black Widow.

We got Firestar out of the Amazing Friends. And now we have the new White Tiger and the new Nova.

But that's quite a bit different than shipping Peter/Natasha. What with Natasha being a super spy and you having a history of trying to pair Peter up with any costumed adventurer in the Marvel Universe.

(I think people would expect a "Mayday" series to essentially be an adaptation of sorts of Tom DeFalco's Spider-Girl. Like I said, I don't think that will happen but I don't object to it because "girls need role models.")

You will never see mayday with her own show because marvel wants consistency with comics and other media based on the whole Marcus Johnson is Nick Fury thing. I swear all that nick fury crap and stumbling around distracts from a pretty good story in battle scars

It would have been a cool dynamic to have seen Spider-Man and The Black Widow have a working relationship as she has had with Daredevil in the past. With regards to Spider-Man's costumed relationship, I only wanted to see that list get expanded beyond The Black Cat to at least 6 other heroines who might have a mutual interest with Peter Parker. I don't see anything wrong with expanding Spider-Man's female partnerships. I never said that there would be a romantic relationship between them. But sometimes, dating the said heroine(in the background) presents an opportunity for Peter to get to know her world and vice versa. That is how a real friendship is established. If Spider-Man x Heroine got to know each other, it presents a rare opportunity of seeing them work together in a way that connects them to the story, which is important. I never said it would be an ongoing status que. This gives a writer(who might not be interested with The Black Cat) to use their favorite heroine(interested in Spidey) from the list I made as a team-up partner for Spider-Man. In my opinion, Spider-Man should have had this sort of working partnership with The Black Widow a longtime ago as she was the first superheroine to notice Spider-Man and wanted to see if he was worthy.

The thing about the Spider-Girl of MC2 universe is the fact that this timeline took place right after the Clone Saga had ended, as well as the fact that it reflected the mid-1990's timeline. Never the less. I do miss Mayday and her world. But I feel that her story has been told. Although, I am still a proponent of the Venom version of Earth-X returning. Anyway, here is a video that I found. Enjoy:
