Sure, but that happened along the years, not after the first one.

I didnt ask for Timm's universe. Batgiiirl4ever gave an example involving it.

And actually, there's big difference between not aging, and aging 5-10 years between seasons. If anything i dont want this because i want to see those characters evolve, not to get a review of how they evolved in those missed years that i'll never see. As the comics essentially always go back to square one eventually I am really liking the prospect of at least one version of DCU characters that can truly evolve and change over time. This cartoon is promising to now do that.
    Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

If we're bringing in the Dini/Timmverse into this... ONE YEAR. Their time skip was ONE YEAR. And we got 2 episode pretty much devoted to tell you the only important things that happened in that one year, not to mention one episode was Harley's origin which was like 50% flashback. This is like FIVE PLUS YEARS. That's a lot more. In ratio, half the season needs to be spent on important flashbacks.

How do you know this? If you seen the new season, give me spoilers.

Will you be so open minded if in season 3 Babs is out and Cass replaces her? I wonder...

I will admit the MM and somewhat Artemis one are kind of fanfic-y, but the rest are legit.

Evolution takes place over time. Time skips are not evolving there showing an animal a few generations back, and then showing the one that currently exists.

Dick is Nightwing, in S1, he was 13. Think he'd go Nightwing while he still lived with Bruce?

Interesting to think that those lost 16 hours that the core Leaguer's had while under Savage's Starro thrall will be festering over the years that take place between seasons. Neat.

On the other hand though, I hope that the characters who aged aren't being phased out of the show. It'd be easy to smell a conspiracy and say: "Huh. Has anyone noticed that they've phased out some important characters and are slowly replacing the main team with characters from Chief Creative Officer Geoff John's teen titans run?" I'll reserve judgement for what they do with Wally. If Impulse shows up to become the new KF, it'll feel like a groin stomp.

I doubt it will be festering offscreen, more likely they'll find out during the time skip or just forget about it.

Everyone online is speculating a huge time skip because of some leaks... I say wait awhile before jumping to conclusions. Time travel and Alternate Universes are nothing new to the DCU. The Justice League Unlimited was a great series because it had multiple characters, the writers on Young Justice have been knocking it out the park and I have faith the second season will be full of surprises.
Yeah JLU did very well, and I'm really speculating, not trying to jump to conclusions. (Although I'm not doing a very good job ;D) I'm hoping they can pull a JLU here, but also this is very diffrent. JLU came after, 3 seasons after JL, right? So they got 3 seasons to expand on the main characters relationships. Then they introduced the new guys.

Of course L.I. wasn't everything in season 1, but still, I would like to see how all that went down after season 1. And how the Real Roy and Fake Roy was handled as well.

I do have faith in the writers, but I'm just trying to make sense on what they are trying to do here.
What-A-Drag....WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!....LETS GO AKAMARU!

Nightwing, Red Hood, Arsenal, The Question (Vic Sage), Dove (Don Hall)

    Best. Characters. Ever.
