Maybe Artemis and Aqualad were written out because they weren't as popular with viewers as the others. Doubt that's the case with Kid Flash, he'll be back. Maybe he already is. Maybe Wally's the new Flash and Barry's the one who's gone missing. Roy will be back too, so will the other two at some point. All their stories will be told eventually, I'm sure. I'd like to see Kyle RaynerGL, Donna Troy, and Raven show up and i'd like to see more Zatanna.

Really? Why would they HAVE to do the pregnancy story line? Who's holding a gun to their heads forcing them to make Rocket have a baby? Sure it is a big story line from her comic, but there is a lot of stuff they left out from the comics so that doesn't make any sense. They could have easily ignored that story line completely and told other stories with Rocket. Thanks to Icon's origins there would be plenty of stories to tell with her during an alien invasion. None of which require a time skip.

That's a huge part of her development, man. Would you take away Jason Todd dying, or Bruce Wayne losing his parents? Superman and the daily planet, or Sinestro being a former Green Lantern? Rocket's background may not be nearly as tragic, or exotic as that of other characters but it's a huge part of making her who she is. If you snip that part out for the sake of sanitizing her, then it isn't the same character. Doing a time-jump is a perfect way of letting her skip to being a member of the league without outright destroying what makes her interesting.

Okay, so they've built the Team up as basically a secondary, secretive Justice League, with Nightwing taking Batman's spot as the "General" type of character. They even gave Dick Grayson a kind of TDK Batman suit with the jigh collar and shoulder pads. And they moved ahead 5 years and basically made this show more about the Team and less about the Team members. I'm okay with that. I figure Artemis is either dead or undercover, Wally's either dead or the Flash, and Aqualad's undercover or something since he's very much alive.

And someone mentioned that season three should feature characters like Damian Wayne, Cassandra Cain, Supergirl, and Impulse. i like the way that sounds! It would also make Nightwing older, make Jason Todd older if he exists and comes back as the Red Hood, and move Tim Drake into Red Robin range. But if we get Impulse....Heh, Heh, Heh!
