Lagoon Boy is kinda of annoying. Honestly, if we do have Darth Kaldur, I want some good old Atlantean on Atlantean violence where Lagaan gets his @ss kicked. Besides what is the point of characters falling to the dark side if they are not more bad@ss.

I loved it overall, but I can see how the time jump is off putting, it really did come from left field as another poster said. I especially enjoyed the new characters and returning cameo characters, extra-especially Beast Boy, well, what little we saw of him!!
As far as Blue Beetle's character trait, namely the Spainglish, I really didn't mind it. I'm Hispanic and I'm always mixing my two languages, not as a constant reminder of my ethnicity or any real reason at all, it just happens. Think of it this way, the more words you know, the more options you have for articulating your thoughts, but for Hispanic Americans or any other race with it's unique language, we have twice as many words available to us, so sometmes the two get mixed in to the same sentence.
I'm also super excited to learn more about Wondergirl, she's a big fave of mine!! However, I agree with everyone who is cross about Rocket and Zatanna not getting enough time to develop before getting shuffled to the big leagues. Though I'm hopeful that the theory of visiting the past and seeing the original team's past 5 years will come to pass.
I dig Lagoon Boy, but I will admit to needing to get used to they chose to his portray his "Puffer-Fish" powers, it seemed that he almost went Big Bertha in the way he transformed. Maybe they'll tone it down, either way, I do really like the character, his abrasively headstrong and cocky nature is sure to deliver good tension for the team.
All in all, I can't wait for more!!
Oh, and the return of a non-evil Aqualad, and living Artemis and Kid Flash!!

\\PULL*LIST//Marvel:DC:
This show needs:
Static Shock
The Newsboy Legion
Golden Gorilla guy
Matter-Eater Lad
Starfire
and a Cyborg-Beast Boy bromance as a homage to Teen Titans
It occurs to me on the question of Aqualad and Kurt reminding me about Aquababy. Maybe Kaldur is back in Atlantis as Aquababy's mentor/bodyguard. I feel like he'd be the first person AM would ask to fulfill that role when Arthur was unable to.
Well with Aqualad removed from the team, my interest in the show has dwindled drastically. The fact that Rocket and Zantanna got so little development is utterly ridiculous,
the only saving grace for this show for me right now is Blue Beetle and Wonder Girl. With batgirl on the team, there is way too many individuals that are permanent members
that belong to the bat family, her spot should have been given someone else like static. And especially with how the writers treated new incoming members like Zantanna
and Rocket, I have very little hope in decent development for Static that's for sure.
Overall, this use to be one of my favorite shows. Now, it's a DVR series.
Snowstorm Comics is the newest comic book publisher. Releasing their first print "Kindred" from their upcoming comic, "Evolved" you can find out more at snowstormcomics.com
Uh, you're jumping to a premature conclusion that Aqualad is gone permanently. And why "should" Static have gotten Batgirl's spot? While both Batgirl and Static are fan favorite characters, Batgirl had already been introduced in her civilian identity in the previous season, it makes more sense that Batgirl would appear before Static. And anyways Static, at least Virgil Hawkins, is already confirmed to appear eventually the show. And Rocket and Zatanna being on the League does not guarantee that they won't get any more development.
When you think about what happened in the season 1 finale, the lost 16 hours isn't the only problem they had to deal with.
The League may be able to account for what they did while under Savage's control, except for the six, but they couldn't account for what Savage, Klarion and the conspiracy of light did during that time.
Were Savage and Klarion the only two super villains to be on the Watchtower? They could have beamed a lot more people up there to speed up implementation of their plans. And wasn't it a bit odd that they didn't beam in some super villains as support after they found out that the team could remove their mind control?
Vandal Savage and Klarion could have also learned the secret identities of everyone in the Justice League. They could have also stolen a lot of League technology and secrets. Not to mention surprises they could have left in the Watchtower and more permanent mind control or subliminal commands.
Despite the failure to take over the Justice League, the Conspiracy of Light should be more powerful than ever before.
Unless there is a massive info dump in the next couple of episodes I can't see myself remaining too interested. Also I'd have rather watched Zatanna cope without her dad and the League's efforts to free him from the role of Dr Fate than just have saw them as teammates in the JLA. Also if after 5 years they still haven't found the real Roy or got Zatara free or figured out what happened in those lost 16 hours, I can't help feeling they are pretty goddamn lazy. 5 years of a kid growing up without their dad because the big boys would rather use him as a big gun then let a daughter get her dad back?
I also agree with Rocket. She basically joined the team in the last episode and is already JLA? Where was the character development or actions shown to explain her promotion?
As it stands we have a bunch of new heroes, no origins explained, previous characters have changed and got new roles with no explanation as to why and a lot has apparently happened, none of which we know. For a kids show, frontloading so many new characters without explanation given it's a kids show doesn't seem too smart, the familiar faces they liked have changed or gone and they have new ones they are meant to care for despite them being given no reason to unless they are a DC diehard who knows who they are already. No Wally, Aqualad or Artemis in sight after all their character development? Just seems like a bad idea to do this to a show that's already lost the kids market to the point retailers won't order the stock and the entire lines are being cancelled, why would they expect the kids to pay for toys of characters they don't even know or care for since half the cast are gone and there are 8 new people in their place?
This has great animation but really dumb scheduling issues and this time jump causes more questions and problems that were not needed given the shows declining audience and apparent marketability to the demographic that keeps these franchises afloat, kids and the parents that appease them. I think this and Thundercats are both done at the end of their seasons since their toylines have tanked and nobody is demanding for Young Justice kids duvet sets. I can see Super BFFs, Beware The Batman and Green Lantern being the DC Nation block in the future. Interesting GL has had a shorter run but only one 3 month hiatus and has high viewing figures and more demand for the toys than YJ which has had longer to build up it's audience but also one long and two short breaks that allowed that audience to dwindle.
