Quoting myself here because when I posted this I forgot that recent TT covers and the Culling images show many characters wearing Tron-like outfits, making Superboy's not at all unique. So I definitely think now that this suit's days are numbered. We probably will get that black vest, pants and gloves suit with the tattoo, I'd bet.

I've not been following Teen Titans, why are they wearing those suits anyway? I thought the Tron suit had something to do with monitoring Superboy's powers.

i want SB to have TTK on YJ,but how

genomorphs have mental abilities,i read or saw it on the show
human dna,interracting with kryptonian dna,creates mutation
or human dna actually mutates the solar cells kryptonians have,not their normal evolutionary abilites,or golden age powers

creates mutated kryptonian dna that leans toward mental powers(TTK)
Or totally new extra power from his normal gplden age powers (TTK)

is that better lol

I'm not quite sure. Some characters like the Titans after being captured and most of the Ravagers (except Caitlin) have them, while the new Artemis in the Annual preview does not. So I'm not sure at all what its purpose is anymore. Maybe they're what Harvest's handpicked favorites wear or something.

Whatever the explanation, the overall design of the suit has direct ties to Harvest and his Ravagers, and Superboy is not going to be a part of that group so it seems to me that he's going to ditch it when he's with the Titans full time.

oh and here is my theory about powers for both the comics and the show

nuSB has TK,YJ SB has golden age powers,ying and yang of each other

YJ SB has golden age powers and is effected by kryptonite,the nuSB has TK and is not eeffected by kryptonite,they are just starting them off with differemt powers,YJ SB will have TK someday ,and nuSB will have golden age powers,which at that time will make him effected by kryptonite.also without the kryptoniam powers nuSB would not be a solar battery,same about kryptonite,so when scott said SB wasnt a solar battery he was telling the truth,he just didnt say anything about wjat would happen innthe future.

so its

golden age physical powers(with solar battery and kryotonite to boot)
TTK (from some kind of mutation of human mixture with kryptonian,or unlocking human potential from the mixture,or third donor maling the mixture and mutation possible.

so the will be the same,it willjust take time.

oh and tron suit will probably go away for regular clothes someda,because its NOWHERE gear,and YJ season two SB outfit is awesome.

YJ SB should have consciously controlled physical touch TTK

nuSBs TTK is set up to be the most powerful and versatile consciously controlled TK,but still he has to think of using it,like all other TK.

the golden age powers on the show and in the book make young clark and YJ conner very strong and "almost" completely invulnerable,kinda like luke cage,but with a awesome metabolism and ability to move fast and jump far.with this he would be complete,a total equal to kryptonians,his physical power with his TK would make him whole.

Anyone else wish that DC would re-release some of the 90's Superboy series digitally like they have with Robin and the 1st 6 issues of Impulse.

I know its a little harder with Superboy because of the Clone Plague followed immediately by Worlds Collide and then Zero hour (although Zero Hours issues have been re-released).

But they could easily release the first 6 issues, plus Man of Steel #35. The only issue then is Worlds Collide which would be prime for a 99c sale.

I find this hard to answer. Technically, as Superman's my favourite character bar none, Clark Kent is automatically my favourite Superboy. However, my favourite character as Superboy is Kessels Kon-el Superboy.

They were kinda caught between a rock and a hard place with Superboy. I don't think they saw him as a character that would be around as long as he has when he was created back in 92 so they had to switch tactics and origins in the way they did.

I hope they don't use that costume. It just looks like they're trying too hard to make Superboy edgy and cool. I'd rather just go with something like the Young Justice Season 2 costume.

Well this thread is who is your favourite Superboy not who's your favourite character. If you prefer 1 character over another as Superboy that would be the one you should choose.

Just like you might choose Tim Drake as your favourite Robin even if Nightwing is your favourite character. Or in my case I would choose Wally West as Kid Flash even though I like Bart Allen more but I liked Bart Allen as Impulse not Kid Flash (Why did Johns have to screw with all my favourites?)

Maybe a Kryptonian Armour like DCnu Superman's only with the shoulder area and some other armour sections red and no cape. Similar to Kon El's 2nd costume only with a belt. Its inactive form could be a black t-shirt with S-shield.
