with that directors pedigree, sounds like another future flop for WB and DC. Sheesh!

Seems like a strange choice but I've been surprised before so I guess you can never really tell.
That movie has already been done. It was called Hellboy and featured a cigar smoking, rough-and-tumble tough guy hunting down bounties and teaming with a young girl (and a fish man). It was even good enough that they made a sequel called Hellboy 2.
Pretty sure "Lobo" will not have a sequel. Or a fish man (lamentably).
I Dig: Hawkeye, Hank Pym, Squirrel Girl, Moon Knight, Songbird, Wiccan, Pixie, the Underbolts and Avengers Academy (RIP Stature)
Good God! So many more characters to run with and they choose Lobo?
Utterly clueless.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
I fragging love Lobo. But this sounds like it'll probably be a crappy flop. I mean, I could be wrong, I've been wrong before, and I'm not going to judge a movie before it has even been made. But there's nothing here to fill me with confidence.
Least that Paramilitary Christmas fan film was good.
A lot of people get sentience confused for sapience. Your hamster is sentient, you are sapient. Intelligence is sapience.
