Yes, it's true. One scene was filmed a couple of weeks ago right after the premiere. It was a late inclusion which shows that the studio had faith in having both.

Interesting, because I just saw it today, and sat through right to the end, and there was only one sequence mid-credits, and nothing at the end. So, have you seen this second sequence for yourself, or are you going on what others have told you? Have they included a second sequence but only on some copies of the film?

Some people are saying it will be included in the US release next week, as a thank you for waiting here in the US. I don't know how reliable that report is though.

Either way I'm just going to stay at the end anyway while me and my buddies just talk about what went on in the theater.

There is no indication that the scene filmed after the premiere is an after credits scene. It could be something for the blu ray/dvd. Kevin Feige himself said it wasn't for the credits.

But I'm sorry to hear about your wife's hip replacement.

It's her second actually. She had osteo-arthritis in both hips. Bone on bone. But since the first surgery in November, she has been pain free in that hip, so now it's time to get the other done and hopefully have a summer full of riding the Harley, boating and general pain free fun. Missing the Avengers at the theater would be worth it to get my wife back to a happy and pain free state.

I've always had a theory that if people didn't see Star Wars when they were young they wouldn't think so highly of it.
Entirely based around me not seeing the movie until i was 15.
