Just realized I didn't pick up Hoax Hunters #1 yesterday at my LCS, but just called them and they still had a copy! Can't wait to read it.

my copies being delivered it should arrive by thursday.....i will say this since getting back into comics last year I've been mainly a DC Guy so this will be interesting

Yeah well i also got the adventure time ongoing series and the adventure time mini series on my list so hoax hunters isn't the only Non-DC Comic I'll be getting

Damn, Adventure Time is so amazing. Everyone should be reading or watching that.

Couldn't agree more i was shocked by the quality of the adventure time comic book(only have the fifth issue so far but will get every upcoming issue as it releases as well as the marceline series so I'm all set!)and pleasantly surprised to find no ads at all in the book itself being someone who has been an exclusive DC Reader since last year i have gotten used to books seeming shorter and shorter due to the amount of ads in each issue

but stuff like adventure time? you pay $3.99 for A 32 Page comic that's the truth with DC Or Marvel you tend to pay $2.99 for what's advertised as a 32 page comic but in reality is more like 18-22 pages you also gotta pay $3.99 for 40 page comics which are really closer to being 32 page comics

here? they don't lie or just tell you the amount of pages while forgetting oh yeah we're including all the ads in that page count too! they just tell it like it is the only ads are featured at the back of the comic and at the end and it's for other comics by Boom Studios thankfully they advertise them in a manner where it's not seen as being forced upon you it's just a "Hey If you liked this book you might like these too!"

Really enjoyed the issue. Little different tone than the backup stories but I love the premise and I think the government conspiracy angle with the supernatural angle should make this a fun read.

Thanks so much! Yeah, it's a little different from the backup, for sure. Shift in scope now with the ongoing. Wait until issue two, things get crazy!
