yeah, this was a fun issue. much needed after that last story arc, which i didn't really care for. so, anyone wanna take bets on how many issues it takes before Cannonball shows up pissed?

Oh man, he's already been through this with Sunspot and Boomer. This is going to be hilarious.

One writer will have Hank Pym or Peter Parker slap Jan or MJ, respectively. Another writer will write them as being the total opposite of that. Different writer, different characterization. One issue Wolverine has unbreakable bones. The next issue space gangsters break his legs. Something is always true or untrue until the writer says otherwise. How many times has Bendis written characters out of character just to serve his story? A lot. That's fiction for you.

The Warlock subplot was kinda adorable. I wanna see that lady again.

I felt a little bad, but unsurprised, by the fact that she thought it was just a costume. Did she also think that maybe he was a foreigner who just spoke bad English too? =P Still funny when even Warlock gets more play than Bobby. That's an all new low for our sloppy seconds loving solar powered strong man.

There was a mutant character named Trois aka Trioccula in X's Brotherhood, but this is totally not the same character.

Technically, but in an alternate reality petri dish soap opera kind of way...Which is only reinforced since Scott doesn't really claim him and seems more interested in Nate's alternate future sister...Not the best plan on Dani's part.

Didn't Scott just recently offer a place to Nate on Utopia so he could get to know family? Pretty sure a scene like that happened recently. Either way, Scott's in no position to play daddy to anybody right now. He's pretty far off his rocker. And when he IS totally sane, he's kind of a mediocre dad. I mean, he left Madelyne and baby Cable the moment he heard Jean was alive. He's not going to win father of the year that way. Rachel kinda got the cold shoulder from Scott and Jean for a while too. Nate's in good company. The only way Scott could be a worse dad is if he renamed himself Magneto.
