Didn't Scott just recently offer a place to Nate on Utopia so he could get to know family? Pretty sure a scene like that happened recently. Either way, Scott's in no position to play daddy to anybody right now. He's pretty far off his rocker. And when he IS totally sane, he's kind of a mediocre dad. I mean, he left Madelyne and baby Cable the moment he heard Jean was alive. He's not going to win father of the year that way. Rachel kinda got the cold shoulder from Scott and Jean for a while too. Nate's in good company. The only way Scott could be a worse dad is if he renamed himself Magneto.

He may have offered Nate a place to live and the chance to get to know him, but he nearly had a panic attack when Rachel slowly disappeared after AOX. In all fairness, he really hasn't had a relationship with either and has proven himself to be a generally terrible father. The only one he really shows consistent concern toward is Cable, but only we he grew into an old man (lemon party). He probably only freaked out about Rachel leaving due to her resemblance to Jean, and Rachel skipped over to Wolverine's school at the first opportunity, so go figure.

I bet Father's Day is really awkward for that family.

Yep, he totally did! I was initially seeing the hints, but didn't really believe they would go there given her relationship with Cannonball...but when the hillbilly is away, the mice will play.

I (obviously) like Nate in general and was looking forward to his inclusion on the team, but did not feel like he really fit in for a while. He's starting to come around, but is not entirely there yet. Haven't read this issue yet though, so maybe he totally clicks. I think DNA are on the right path with Nate for sure, but time will tell for me.

This book is 96% horrible. So far, this issue & the one with Mephistopheles have been good.

I do not like the Dani/Nate pairing at all. It's doubly weird given how she dislikes Cable so much, but isn't opposed to swapping spit with Nate Grey. And poor Sam. This is his second time that being in a long distance relationship has soured. Still don't like Doug at all and Berto isn't acting like he has any swagger. Still hoping for some better stories - although I do really like the done-in-one stories thus far.
