Meh. I don't pay much attention to covers that don't have husk or Cannonball on them. Sorry. but Remender's tweet about killing a character her grew to love that he was surprised he was given clearance to do? Although, I doubt Marvel would want Psylocke to die. Who knows. Of course, it could be in Venom or Secret Avengers...

Hopefully Sinister Iceman got his. And defeated by Nightcrawler? For all his lauded powers he was but a commoner.

AoA Nightcrawler takes 616 Kurt's powers, and removes all moral restraint in their use. He teleported off the AoA version of Warpath's finger as a threat, and that universe's Deadpool's head. He doesn't f*** around. And he didn't in this issue, either. It was amazing.

A really nice one and done issue.

It's great that Remender can give characterization in both AOA Kurt and AOA Bobby in such a small amount of space. It's always nice to see what Remender can do to Iceman. I was hoping that Kurt can spare Bobby.. But I understand why he did it at the end. And oh.. that death scene is just disturbing.

There's also follow up to Otherworld arc. We finally found out what Betsy sacrificing to the Demon Krokwell in order to save Fantomex. It's her sorrow and ability to feel. That explains the coldness we saw after she killed Jamie. Wow. She sacrifices alot for Fantomex.
I'm not sure I'm liking Betsy's development here..but it's interesting for sure..

I'm not sure I'm liking her development either. At this rate I'm more scared of her becoming a villian or something than dying. Frankly I'm tired of her making all these sacrifices and decisions that hurt her. I'd like for something to actually go right for her. Everything seems so bleak and hopeless right now.

After issue #27 there will be a death in the team. There will be a new member and there will almost be a complete reset.

Fantomex won't be killed off permanently. the solicits for July, combined with Remender's own quotes, make it obvious that humanoid E.V.A. from Here Comes Tomorrow is the new team member. at least that's what it looks like to me.

even in the course of two-plus years worth of story, i still feel the Fantomex/Psylocke romance is forced. then again, the sudden Angel/Psylocke rekindling at the beginning of the book wasn't any different, and really hasn't taken away from my enjoyment of the story.

Noto should stay on the book. that guy is a darling.
