Magik vs Strange...now that's the fight i have been waiting for!!! No AVX VS for that match? Imagine alll the cool spells and effects that fight would generate. Sorcerer Supreme of Earth vs Sorcerer Supreme of Limbo...I wonder if Strange is able to depower Magik since she's fighting the Widow after their match.

For a long time Marvel has mess up event after event but this is the best Marvel event story I have seen in a long time Jason killed it we got to see more in this chapter than all of that Fear Itself crap. Quicksilver showing up, Strange vs Magik, Wolverine being call a traitor, Storm and Black Panther about to go at it , Emma punching Iron Man in the gut, and the fight we know is coming Wanda vs Hope which beg to question how did Wanda know the PF was coming. I think the PF is coming for Wanda as much as it is coming for Hope, Over all this has great writing and action in 25 pages for 3.99 that's what its all about.

Stange isn't sorceror supreme right now, no one is. But I believe Strange is like Doom at this point, where he knows enough that he can still go toe to toe with anyone, especially Illyana. This guys fought his way outta hell, and puny X-men have escaped Limbo pffft Mordo can demolish Magik, let alone Strange lol

I agree.

Aaron's dialogue is a little funny at times but he's bringing his quirky sense of humor to this event which is always welcome.

As a person that wants balls to wall action in his events, this is what I've been waiting.

Can't wait to get the VS issues.

Bendis has nerfed Dr.Strange pretty bad.

Magick in limbo will too much for current Strange IMO.

Magik has the soul sword which cancels others spells and kills gods and demons. It finished off archenemy who took out surtur nightmare and a thousand other hell lords. a weaker magic owned Mephisto in his own realm. However I can't picture marvel letting strange lose this battle on an event of this magnitude. He is after all marvel's premier magic user. If he loses they might be setting up the extinction team as marvel's version of the Authority. Uberpowerful but feared and hated by humanity.

The one part of this story that i want to know more about is what is Hope connection to Wanda, The part i found funny is why Wanda is watching the news and the reporter wonders what caused this. Wanda as the readers know she is the real cause of this, I just want to see where they take Wanda because she has been fu*ked over for a long time.

we both know that aint goin happen lol... and yeah bendis nerfed strange pretty bad, but I think this is the ideal battleground for both characters.
Magik doesn't have no BS holding her back, and Strange doesn't have to look at her as a human, so he wont hold back either. What im gettin at is these two need their battle to be made into a mini series lol

My hypothesis is that when Wanda said no more mutants she did two things. She sent all of the mutant energy into Micheal Pointer and she transferred the entirety of mutant potential into the unborn Hope. That would explain why Hope's power is to replicate other mutants powers.

It makes so much sense, but I'm sure I'll be proven wrong.

Darkchylde is back and she tricked Dr. Strange into going into Limbo to rumble. Thats gonna be a GOOD fight

Oh and I wouldnt be surprised if Storm and Panther get a divorce after this

Overall great issue for #2 even if I do feel aot of them are being irrational and the fighting shouldnt have happened. As for the ending, I didnt expect to see Hope activate her Phoenix powers so soon. The times the power signature has manifested, its been accidental and not of her own control. She seems to be able to actually wield it now

8. Spider-man and Wolverine infiltrate Utopia through the sewer system. They find Hope standing over the Young X-men all Phoenixed up. Wolverine goes all dick head and tries to stab Hope. The Avengers and the X-men crash into the room and find Hope Phoenix roasting Wolverine from inside (taste the kiss of the Phoenix bitch!).

And where was Spidey during the stab attempt?
