My favorite aspect of 616 and UU crossing over is that we are one step closer to seeing some characters come back. All we need now is for a writer to come along a pitch a good story to bring some characters back.

    2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!

Writer: "So I've got this idea for an Ultimate X-Men arc. Wolverine comes back from the dead and then-"
Editor: "Stop right there. It's perfect."

    Something like that?

Or 616 Wolverine comes to the UU.

    Offnote
Wolverine12 your most hated character must be Cyclops right. He is the one that killed Wolverine.

Also, for those of you saying that a resurrection cheapens a death or that comic-book resurrections can't be good, read Hickman's Fantastic Four run. Johnny Storm's return was even better than his death (and what came after that was pretty damned awesome, too). Also, Brubaker's Captain America, which features two separate returns from the dead. Bucky, one of THE untouchables, was brought back in what is still one of my favorite Marvel stories, and Steve Rogers died only to be brought back a few years later (though Reborn wasn't as well received as Winter Soldier).

If that ever happens I am dropping the line. Why the heck do we need old characters back anyway? Why can't new ones be brought in instead??
Anyone who doesn't like Miles Morales is a racist.

    Pretty much along those lines.

I like Cyke, my anger is focused on Loeb and Joe Q. The event that shall not be named was a waste of money, time and great characters.

Why can't we have both, anything can happen in the UU.

    It's lazy, uninspired, and pointless.

Just like having Miles become spider-man. Because we can't come up with NEW super heroes. Is there a quota that was already met and I wasn't aware?

And replacing dead characters with their children whom were never so much as hinted at isn't? It mean look at Jimmy, he's got all of Logan's powers exactly the same way and was even given metal claws with no explanation. It's basically Logan without the skill. Not like they went with a universe without a Wolverine. No, instead they just made up another one.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

Really? IMO Cyclops was the main reason Wolverine died. I don't blame Magneto because well it was all self-defense. I don't blame Tony because he couldn't control his armor fast enough. But Cyclops goddamn. You can't say he wasn't he control of his visor because he was in full control. Was his eyelids made out of metal? Why didn't he just close his freakin eyes. What a douchebag he probably still blames Wolverine when he fell off that cliff.

How is it any lazier than taking two alternate Spider-men and teaming them up?

Agreed, that was just the kind of writing that there's just no excuse for. I'd honestly love to hear what reason Loeb could come up with for why Cyclops didn't close his eyes because surprise of the situation kinda wears off after about 2 seconds of it. Even worse is that he finally closed his eyes after Hawkeye shot the visor off of him making it even more contrived.

Then there's the fact that everyone just stood there gawking at it like idiots. I mean God forbid Jean makes a telekinetic barrier like she's been shown to be able to or move Tony and Scott away from Logan.

I don't know if this was true or was just speculation but was Ultimatum was supposed to be the end of the Ultimate line? Is this why they were just like "Hey let's kill this guy and this guy and this guy... who cares? We won't be writing these stories anymore anyways, right?" Kind of like when a house forecloses and the previous owners trash the house before they leave. If they wrote all those deaths because they thought that would be the end of Ultimate Marvel, then should consider resurrecting those characters as they were not killed off for story purposes, but simply because they thought they wouldn't be writing them any longer.
Pull List: Uncanny X-Men, All-New X-Men, Ultimates, New Avengers
