Back covers count just as much as front covers. I love the idea!

Just out of curiosity I started a quick poll on having a complete Mignola list on here, here:
    http://forums.comicbookresources.com...y-List-on-here

I myself am like almost entirely in favor of having such a list, but still I find myself wondering what anyone would think.

Now I'll be posting the info I promised you 'though. I have to first type it all out again, since my office tool ain't 'open source' or licensed, it tells me. Which bites.

I love the idea of a TOTAL MIGNOLA list. It makes perfect sense!

If you check the Dave Stevens Checklist, what they did is spell out whether he contributed to the inking, art, or storyline of a book. Even when he contributed to a card inserted into a book (Cheval Noir #17 has a Rocketeer card drawn by Stevens). I would love to see a combined Mignola list like this.

I'm going to slap myself for totally forgetting this book, since I own one for the very reason you posted it - Mignola Hellboy goodness.

thanks for taking this project up Bosco. I'd have strated it, but im in crunch time at school, so not a whole lot of time. Most these books are in $1 bins, so, trying to find them all is fun. ill add to the list later (or at least review it better, to see what may be missing.) off to class now...
Marvel: ASM, Deadpool, Thor, Iron Man, etc
DC: Batman and related, Green Lantern, The Flash, etc
Omnibus wishlist: Classic Deadpool, Pak Hulk, Spider-Man 2099

My pleasure. I've been a completest with a few creators in the comic industry (Dave Stevens cover art, Frank Miller stories, Alan Moore stories), though not always found the books later on due to scarcity of inventory. Mike Mignola makes perfect sense as the next step in my completest list.

    That's a great link.

It seems to be a list containing only the pencils of only some publishers - but not all publishers. Where most of the more promotional stuff or works for magazines or books or movies seems left out. Where sòme international - translated or either even exclusive stuff by just any non-U.S. editions seems listed, but not all of it I would presume.

Which would be my problem with any such lists: I don't think restricting lists to only pencils (what's wrong with inking or just writing?) works well for being complete. I don't think leaving out novels or books works for being complete (Baltimore is missing, Hellboy: the Lost Army is missing, both as a slew of other very vital both as rich or even graphically sequential works are missing).
I don't think leaving out comic convention booklets (containing all kinds of exclusive illustrations or even narrative bits) or Diamond exclusives or comic magazines works well for being complete.
Or either leaving out entire books dedicated to movie art or interviews, even the Hellboy Companion is missing.

Even for the most ruthlessly singleminded comics-focused fan this list will be harshly incomplete I'd feel.
