Yes, true. But Scott is by far one of the longest standing ones. He's always had a problem with anyone not Jean or Phoenix related.

Well, plus he's totally on the Supervillain Superhighway these days. He went from being one of the most stick-in-the-ass hypermoral characters in comics to a guy who started a team called the Extinction Team populated with a majority of ex-villains (Mags, Namor, Emma, Danger, Illyana). He had a murder squad (X-Force) operating in the background for a long time, taking direct orders from him. He sent untrained kids into battle rather than asking for help from non-mutants or evacuating. He's on the verge of being too hardcore for Magneto.

Yeah when it reached a point that Wolverine, of all people, had to call you out on your crap then you clearly have fallen off the slippery slope

One of the remaining members of the Extinction Team is also the slowly-going-insane avatar of Cyttorak. Who also happens to have once been a member of the Acolytes.

You would think Cyttorak would have told Colossus he'd rather have Cyclops with the way he's been acting... Maybe they're trying to make a new villain or something.

I'm sure he would have, but Cyke wasn't there live and in person like Piotr was.

Well hey, your girlfriend can only die so many times before you flip the hell out.

Matt Murdock is doing okay. Maybe he likes the variety.

Cyclops' visor was damaged at the start of AvX2 by a shield toss, and as the field of battle was crowded with Avenger and X-men HTH combatants I am not sure he would have wanted to pull a GOMLZark attack.

What I found slightly PISsy was Emma Frost running back to the battlefield to engage in a TP attack. Considering distance isn't a real problem for her powerset, she could have accomplished this from the safety of the bunker.

His visor was visibly damaged, but there was no apparent effect on his firing ability. And yes, Emma running back outside to waste the psi-defenses was ridiculous (her comment while doing so - I can shred their psi-shields in 30 seconds, if I pause to take a nap in the middle). It just gave them an excuse to write the "Most expensive punch in history" caption when Emma's diamond form punched Stark's multibillion dollar battlesuit. Oh, and to have the fight last longer than those aforementioned 30 seconds.

Not doing using her TP at the start was plot convenience.

Walking up to people so she can be all "I'm in charge" before doing it seems to be fine in terms of her character. Emma Frost is pretty much arrogant as hell.

Honestly, from what I've seen of the character I don't know how anyone can tolerate her.

This is not a rare trait in superheroines/vilanesses.

Heck, I'm reasonably sure she has three younger clones with a hive mind running around.
