Default Which Emma do you prefer?

    Time for round 2.

Which version of Emma do you prefer? Why?

And, what year did you start reading X-Men?

I want to vote for Morrison Emma, but that option includes the current Emma. I feel like they aren't the same.

Morrison Emma and post-morrison Emma are basically two separate characters.

    Morrison Emma obviously.

It's fair to say she's had her ups and downs since then. I'm thankful for her current decent characterization.

The original Emma was one of the more interesting X-men characters/villains. Considering her background, her haughty and disdainful attitude to other people was finely coupled with her lack of morals and compassion. I miss her.

I started in July 1986 with the X-Men in Japan for Logan's wedding (yes, Logan - not Howlett).

No, why? Do you find my position so unique that it can't be shared by more people? :)

    Agreed, this poll confused me.

Morrison/Milligan BY FAR. I would've liked her more in Gen X if she didn't look so damn frumpy.

The "Yes Logan NOT Howlett" bit was a tad unnecessary. I don't see anyone calling Wolverine "Howlett" in this thread.

Milligan Emma is one of my favorites versions of Emma for (on-topic-ness sake).

Point taken. The changes in Claremont's Emma reminded me of the overdose in the making a background for Logan which in CC's opinion was unnecessary and I fully agree with that. But you're right, I shouldn't have mentioned it here.

For on-topicness sake, I find the current Emma too bland and PC compared to the original.
