It's good to hear Dan is optimistic about anthologies. Wondering what he's tackling next.

Didn't really realize OMAC and Challengers were Kirby characters ? Ok, I can only suspend my disbelief so far...

    More of THE CHALLENGERS.. !!
More of the Kirby' creations ( like KAMANDI, written by Ann Nocenti and art by Rick Veitch and/or Steve Pugh) !!
    More anthologies !!

Ditto to both the above comments -- MORE ANTHOLOGIES!!

It's great that they have DCU Presents and a war anthology. Now how 'bout one for the science-fiction/fantasy related characters? The Western characters? Horror?

And, yes, bring on the Kamandi!!

I'd kill for a regular STRANGE ADVENTURES or MYSTERY IN SPACE series!

I think just buying them would be more than sufficient.

While the Challengers story does feel a tad too packed with characters - I'd have been happy with the originals plus June - I love that the tryout was bashed down to three issues to make room for more concepts. Do we know what's coming after Not Scandal Savage? As Dan loved the Seventies horror anthologies* from DC, how about a Witching Hour issue, or any of the old titles? And then we can have Strange Sports Stories!

    * Is it US usage that sees 'anthology' used for any comic with no ongoing character? Raised in the UK, I use the term to mean a comic with a number of stories in each issue, such as those old mystery books. No biggie, just wondering.

I agree with the 3 issue arcs. Deadman was good but 5 issues was just too long.

Thinking about getting this, any news on how it was? Really interested in seeing the Challengers in the Nu52.

I liked it, unfortunately the story got cut short, so it ends very abruptly.
