Because comics amount to being either formats of books or forms of popular culture - which one chooses specifically to become a fan of, in order to be underlining one's particular or belonging traits, completely to preferance in due time. Or one would prove to simply being too touchy about oneself.
As any people will mostly like how others might be liking or not liking what people'd happen to be feeling to like. People wanna fit in both as be to stand out, all at the same time.
People like that game - at least most of the time.

Thanks to comics, I know that neither way bloated heads or mullety hairstyles (or any glow-in-the-dark variants) can really be to serve a purpose.
Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.
Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?
Half sunk in the mud, with one eye showing / a cracked smile and hair still growing /
your hands miles apart, as if they'd never met / you were the happiest I'd seen you yet

Thanks to comics, I have seen the exchange:

"GAZE INTO THE FACE OF FEAR!"

    "We must fight on!"
"We'll die. We fight and we die, that's how it goes."
    "Then we die gloriously!"
"There's an important word there, and it's not gloriously."

Thanks to comics, I had a good chat on the train with a young couple I didn't know. I was reading Terminal City, they pulled out Walking Dead and Sweet Tooth.
    "He actually amnesty them!"
