I don't. Wolverine's been doing his thing for ages and it never really gets him into trouble (save personally). I'm sick to death of Gambit always getting the black sheep/traitor rap/story especially since most of it was trying to actually help and being written poorly. I want Gambit to be seen as useful skill and team member so he gets used as such not so when this solo is over, he's back to being the X-Men team looser.

I hope there's more to it than just "Gambit steals shit" Now is the time to give him more character depth. Maybe fix some of his background that's been left hanging.

If the backbone of the book is gambit running around the marvel universe stealing things from everyone from Stark to the kree then I'm pretty happy with that. It gets him away from them X-men and lets interact with more characters.
