It really is awesome that Stegman's getting promoted like this. Kudos to all involved in making this happen. He's a really talented artist.

I first saw Stegman's work on She-Hulks (too bad it was downgraded to a mini) so I'm looking forward to this.

Also, the Fantastic Force are actually still on Earth? How long will they stay here? I had speculated Reed would have taken them to Franklin's Counter-Earth.

Well, we can ask the editors to to do a "Scarlet Four" crossover so we'd still get a Stegman Kaine.

I dont think I would consider moving to Fantastic Four with Hickman a step down and he probably wasn't fired but more asked if he wanted to move.

Isn't Hickman leaving soon? So are just doing an arc together and then Hickman leaves?

Pretty much. At this point, I'd like to know who will be taking the reigns after Hickman leaves.

I'm banking on us not finding until San Diego Comic Con.

I am going to miss him on Scarlet Spider, but no doubt he will have plenty to work with drawing the action scenes of Fantastic Four.

Jeez, what's the point in even calling them "regular artists" anymore? Why not just say "Yeah this guy's doing a storyarc, then he's gone".

I thought Garney was the new Fantastic Four artist. We just got the first issue from him, and now we're hearing about the next guy, who almost assuredly will only be on the title for a handful of issues until Hickman's gone. At which point we can get double hype-laden announcements about who the new Fantastic Four writer is and who the new FF artist is.

It's a rarity these days to get two four-part storyarcs in a row with the same artist. Looking back on Hickman's FF, only Eaglesham was allowed to have that long of a run, if you can even call eight issues a "run".

Why not keep Stegman on Scarlet Spider for a little while longer? Why not let Garney have more than four issues on Fantastic Four?

They shift these artists around so much that it's quite schizophrenic.

What is the philosophy here? What is the marketing strategy? Do they think that fans of Ron Garney are going to pick up those issues of Fantastic Four and then stick with it after he's gone? I guess?

Betting on Fraction for Fantastic Four (in time to get off of Iron Man) and Gillen for FF (as Journey Into Mystery comes to a close).
