At long last, it is done. I look like I got hit by a car, and Sarah can barely walk, but it is done. We are moved, with two days to spare.

And I have to work tonight. God damn it.

Here might be a good start. I'm not sure if it'd cover anything outside the States, though.

There was a nice thunderstorm on the way in to work tonight. Helped me calm down going onto the job.

I'm really regretting not refilling the painkillers for my bad foot, though. I could really use some, for my foot and otherwise.

When you've got more bruises on your body than years you've been alive, you know you've overdone it.

Weird thing, though: my worst looking bruises by far(so bad my wife flipped out when she saw them) don't hurt at all.

OK, glad that's not just me that looks like I've been beaten with sticks after a move. I feels ya, brutha!

I hope ya don't do what I do, as it's not healthy. I duck my head down and just willpower my way through the task until it's done, without regards to my own well being. This might be the first time I've moved(myself or someone else) that I haven't ended up with stitches or a broken bone by the end. I wish I was a teenager again and could bounce back from this crap faster. As is, I'm sleeping in at least until the wife gets home from work once I get home.

No, I'm just kind of clod-like when I'm not paying attention to it. I run into things, don't even notice and move along. "Where'd you get that bruise on your leg?" has been a question I've been answering my whole life with a shrug.

    Jared bruises like a peach!

I've had bruises lately and I have no idea how I got them. You don't think my new black lycra Spider-Man fetish outfit possesses my body at night and goes out crime fighting?

So I was reading on wiki about some of the things in the Young Avengers : The Children's Crusade . A sequel more or less to Young Avengers , 4 years after such a pretty awesome 12 issue series by Heinberg. Well ... clearly you can't go home again as the spoilers I read makes it sound like the most depressing shit I could imagine. It seems like Marvel put a nail in the Young Avengers as a possible franchise. Which is sad. Because I liked the characters of Iron Lad , Stature , Hulking , Wiccan , Patriot and Hawkeye. Oh well...

I'm on vacation. No more bedtime. Also, bored as hell while I stay up unnecessarily late just because I can.

    Avemgers is really neat.

Especially Stan Lee's cameo as an aged Bucky Barnes.

Yep. I'm always bruised, scraped, and bleeding by the end of a move.
