    Apparently Dick Clark just died.
What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.

Frankly, I'm looking forward to a new year where the world doesn't "Dick Clark"

    2013 is my year.

Stupid celebrity of the day, Madonna on finding out her fifteen year old daughter smokes

And even though the “Vogue” hitmaker recently shot her new music “Girls Gone Wild” with a cigarette in her mouth, Madonna, a former smoker, insists Lourdes didn’t pick up the nasty habit from her.

She adds, “I don’t smoke, that’s just an accessory. There’s a difference. She smoked that cigarette before I did that video. She didn’t get that for me.”

so, she can't see the link between glamorizing smoking and teens smoking?

It's a good thing someone else didn't open that fortune cookie by mistake r you would have had to marry them.

There's a bunch of series I would like to get into and this would serve as extra motivation. Heck, I got into Starman because someone from the DC board practically read it with me.
On Penny Arcade in the games forum there is a common thing called a "Let's Play." I think a "Let's Read" for a comic series would be pretty nifty.
