Yeah I am pretty sure the rule only applies to concert and t-shirts, but there is no winning there, if you wear the shirt of the band its pathetic, but if you wear some other band(usually a little known one) you are branded a hipster.

So, if I went to a Springsteen concert with a vintage "Born to Run" concert T, I'd probably be both pathetic *and* hipster?

...it's a moot point anyway, I couldn't get into that particular T-shirt with a crowbar and lube.
Stay away from the chimps. You can't reason with them and you'll just end up with monkey shit all over your clothes.

I tend to wear plain tshirts...I mean I have different colors but not so much with logos or bands or anything

If you can't wear a band's T-shirt at their concerts, when can you?

No, just a weird old guy!

I really don't care what anybody wears, as long as it fits.

They were, but apparently folks around here take such matters a lot more seriously.

And now we find out that they're dropping the Gifted/Talented program for the elementary students. It doesn't really effect us, because Connor is headed to junior high next year. But both boys loved and thrived in the program and a lot of smart kids aren't going to have the opportunity now to meet with peers, be challenged and realize they aren't the only ones who are a little ahead of the curve and maybe a little different.

Mrs. Aston has been incredible for both boys and we can't say enough about how she and the program have helped them when school could well have otherwise been an unbearable grind.

We, as a society, continually marginalize our best and brightest rather than looking to them to help move us forward. At the rate we're going we deserve to be a nation of inbred mouth-breathers.

I'm becoming physically ill at the thought of what's happening to our schools and our kids.

It's not the availability of the movie, it's my ability to go and see it. Babysitters are not something that we're overburdened with, and I don't want to take another day off to go see it as I've used a lot this year already.
