My boss left her position which in turn left opened a new position in the library which in turn is getting filled by someone underneath her which leaves that persons position open for to be filled and if I play my cards right I could fill that position.

But I'm not even supposed to BE here today!

I hate working on my day off. Ah, well, at least I'll be pleased when the paycheck comes in.

    Fabian asks a silly question:

You guys ever get overjoyed when an annoying/horrible coworker get fired? Two of them got fired this weekend at my place. I was ecstatic.
Well, yeah, who wouldn't? Especially if I had anything to do with getting them fired.

I've watched the reruns on Lifetime On Demand, but I don't think they go past season 3 or 4.

Yeah, sorry. I'm asleep during "prime time" so I'm never up on any current shows.

Jaysus. Just when you think you've escaped someone forever.

On the Bleeding Cool website, there's an article about this weekends Bristol Con. Tim Pilcher has written an article expressing his disappointment about the con, which is fair enough.

What isn't fair enough is that the photo attached to the article appears to have been taken from someones Facebook page without permission. In addition, none of the people shown in the picture has given their permission for the photo to be connected with this article.

Rich Johnson has been asked a number of times to remove said picture, but Rich being Rich (ie a bit of an tool) has, as of yet, not done so.

So, I pointed out on the thread, that seeing as he's been asked, more than once, maybe he'd like to do the decent thing and remove it.

    Guess who replied?

    Well, usually I wouldn't.

But nicking a picture from someones Facebook to use on your, supposidly, professional site is a pretty underhand thing to do, even for a tit like Johnson, so I wanted to point that out to him, seeing as he hasn't responded to direct requests from the pictures owner or from people who are in the picture.

He's turning into the Paul McMullan of comic journalism.

I have a very unflattering picture of the guy who replied to your post in my head.
    My blog.

We struggled against apartheid in South Africa, supported by people the world over, because black people were being blamed and made to suffer for something we could do nothing about; our very skins. It is the same with sexual orientation. It is a given.
