And how. Went with Carne Asada, Lengua and Carnitas. The carnitas was very disappointing. Usually they're my favorite, but they were over salty and greasier than usual.

I found Justice League Dark to be a slow moving mess.

I've rarely read a Milligan book that left me cold. I either love them (like Human Target and X-Statix), or they are upsettingly bad to me, like his X-Men work or now JLD.

I like it a lot, but it was slow. The vampire crossover helped, I think. Lol, I liked his X-Men. He wrote a darn good Emma Frost and a sympathetic Polaris.

I went to a movie after work a couple weeks ago and two of the little bastards were playing on the handrails that go up the middle of the steps like they were monkey bars. Exactly. It is never the kids' fault, as they are, in fact, kids. Kids do stupid shit. It is a given. I certainly don't blame them for it. It is the parents' fault for not reacting to the kid's behavior. No parent can be expected to keep their kid from having a public outburst, but they can keep the kid from having the second and third and fourth, etc.

And yeah, Jeff, it is a shame that the parents' showing of films is basically another way of saying "No one is going to movies at this time anyways, so we can do something like a parents' showing." You would think that at least an occasional, like, Tuesday night parents' showing would be a good idea.

I did try and be nice and tell him ...he isn't likely gonna come close to that $9,000 figure for his 90's comics and his 7,400+ issue collection. I did like how he looks on a comic book website that keeps track of your collection and believes "Hey they are worth $12,000+ bucks !"

Setting up a table at a mart, slapping a £5 label on everything and tell anyone who wants to open the bags to fuck off, as one dealer I witnessed did a number of years back.

SO the ladyfriend stayed at my place yesterday whilst I worked to clean it up as AWOL moved out, and because last night we were having a dinner cooked by one of my favorite local chefs through a charity auction I won. We had the most amazing, epic meal I've had in aaaaages. And Phil, the chef, is super nice. Waiting on photos from Chloe, but can't wait to post.

Unfortunately, somehow during the cleaning, Chloe turned my alarm clock off, which meant I didn't wake up until her alarm at 8:10, just as school was beginning. With my partner out for testing, I booked it and got there in fifteen minutes. The gym teacher was with them, meaning he had them first period and thus I didn't get my break later in the day. Long, unshowered, nasty day, but all in all it was worth it. Chloe's off for the next three months or so traveling, so this apartment without squatters or main ladypal is about to get emptyish.

Watch the latest one where he decided...ya know a way to sell these all in one go... CGC them. So he starts that and has some sealed and shows them off. Some have suggested he sell in lots. But from what he claimed he is gonna try to sell em all at one time for $9,000 !

Wow... insane . I have only had this happen once before . Where I was buying some comics and that dealer was like "You can't open the bags..." I was like...that is cool. My money will go to another dealer then .

My 10 minute presentation to the Board went well; the one hour grilling by the Board went better, mainly because I let me inner Tony Stark come up- the scene with the explosions behind him, me! I did so well I have totally changed the direction of my department and helped encourage the Board to hire more staff.
