Guys, from the looks of it this guy just randomly made this thread. So I wouldn't get to excited about any of this until DC says something on there blog.

DC/Marvel reader. Mostly Superman,Batman,X-Men,Avengers fan...guess I am a fan of most comics.
He's right, though. You can check the wordballoon Manapul interview for confirmation on the Flash (and the fact that they are looking at who can help Manapul out with those pages), Geoff Johns says he's doing one with EVS for GL in the most recent C2E2 panel, Jeff Lemire mentions that Snyder is doing one for Swamp Thing in his Wordballoon interview, etc.

Same rule applies for these that I usually apply when it comes to Annuals.
If it's written by the same writer as the ongoing, I'll probably pick it up.
If it's written by somebody else, I probably won't.
This is why I'm picking up the Batman and Animal Man Annuals, while I don't pick up the vast majority of Marvel ones.
nice, so far we've only gotten annuals for books that are awesome so that pleases me
I'd be disappointed if they wasted one on say, detective comics
Grandparents dead - please no jokes
make mine DC, thanks
I expect some annuals for October (like May and August, 5-Wednesday month), so the GL one sure for October. The Flash one for August confirmed, the other two probably for August too, but maybe one to October. I imagine that the formula will be 3 for month, so in October the GL and 2 more.
I could see the Green Lantern Annual in August. Annuals are usually double sized right? Beacuase Johns said that the GL Annual will wrap up the Revenge of Black Hand arc, and the current arc is four issues, so if he has the July/ August issues, and then the Annual makes up two more issues, it could be about four issues worth of story. But I could be totally off.
Anyways, I'll for sure be buying the GL annual. I hope New Guardians gets an annual too eventually.

Day and Date: Green Lantern/Green Lantern: New Guardians/ Red Lanterns
Wait a Month: Green Lantern Corps
How many of the titles do you think DC will do annuals for? Will it only be the top sellers/critically acclaimed, or will some of the more fringe books get a shot too (assuming they're not being cancelled)?
In any case,I will probably be checking out all of these, except maybe GL.
I like this setup, doing annuals in the five-week months on the fifth week. It's a pretty cool way to end the month and make that last week a bit more special.
I have to imagine their top books will all get one. If people are buying the book, from DC's point of view I can't see why they wouldn't want to put out another, more expensive issue that won't affect the shipping schedule at all, and would be pretty important from a story perspective.
where is the Supergirl Annual?
gotta agree with those clamoring for a Wonder Woman Annual.
Not only does that book deserve it because it's freaking Wonder Woman, but I'd absolutely love to see what Azz could cook up for a double-sized issue.
Maybe between Before Watchmen, the Wonder Woman monthly and Spaceman he isn't capable of producing an Annual? It was mentioned that they were going to bring Chiang on to co plot the series because it was looking as if Azz's schedule was too crowded, but ultimately Azz found the time to do it all on his own. Still, that would seem to indicate that he is pretty booked.
Wouldn't mind seeing Chiang take a crack at writing, or co writing, though.
