DC haven't had anything new to say for a while. They need to be bringing some anouncements to these things. Otherwise all they are really doing is reading out solicitations in every panel at every comicon.

A red Beast Boy. Is this because DC is trying to build up the red and the green and make them more consistent across the DCU?

Azzarello and Chiang were up next to talk about "Wonder Woman" and their plans for the future. "She goes to hell," Azzarello simply said, as the entire room applauded. "I'm not sure how I can elaborate on that," said Chiang. "You'll see in the next issue -- Tony Akins is drawing issues #9 and #10 -- it's a really detailed issue. I actually kind of lucked out that I didn't have to do it. 9 and 10 are in Hell and I'm working on issue 11 right now."

I'm a little disappointed. I was hoping that someone really crazy would be there and would be frothing at the mouth and screaming curses at Azzarello. It would have been highly amusing.

I do wish though that the questioner had asked a different question. We already knew all that stuff about the gods from previous interviews. Ah well...

Cliff Chiang (Wonder Woman) said: "Azzarello and Chiang were up next to talk about "Wonder Woman" and their plans for the future. "She goes to hell," Azzarello simply said, as the entire room applauded. "I'm not sure how I can elaborate on that," said Chiang. "You'll see in the next issue -- Tony Akins is drawing issues #9 and #10 -- it's a really detailed issue. "lucked out"??? I'm not buying this series to see a 2nd tier artist do the climaxes to each of Wonder Woman's storylines. I WANT TOO SEE CLIFF CHIANG drawing the most interesting parts of the story.
Now, if it's going to continue like this two issues on, two issues off, I just may drop WONDER WOMAN from my pull list. I've stopped buying titles from MARVEL COMICS PRECISELY BECAUSE they pulled crap like this where they would market a series with TOP ARTIST only to have half or the majority of the series done by a substandard artist. I'm not going to tolerate this from DC.

It's obviously because they want stick to the iconic versions of the characters.
Or maybe it's just their answer to Red Hulk.
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force

Maybe I should have used the handle "Batwipe" instead of "Batmite2012". I suspect more people would read my posts.

Yep. They've said since the book was first announced Beast Boy being Red has to do with Animal Man. No doubt because of the fact he changes into only animals.
