They need to stop doing so many panels for this event. No offense, but it seems like they're recycling info over and over.

I hope they'll confirm Squirrel Girl vs. Pixie. And S/D, it would really rock if both Songbird and Banshee became members and had to fight each other.
Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?

    Very, very, VERY unlikely.
Beside, it's Psylocke vs. Daredevil and Thor vs. ___________

This is why fans are rarely considered for editorial positions at companies like Marvel.

God I agree, they really have nothing new to say about it, not that there seems like there is much meat on the bones in the first place.

I love how they are saying there will be a game changer every act. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I remember when there used to be multiple game changers every issue of an event comic. They really just seem to be about the beats not the actual individual issues themselves.

So at the end of #5 someone surprising gets chosen as the host. These things are never as big a deal as Marvel would like us to believe. Plus lets face it everything gets put back six months down the road.

Asked whether Cable will appear in "AvX," Alonso again shied away from spoilers, but he said, "We LOOOOOOOOVE Cable. Cable has a big role to play in the Marvel Universe moving forward."
That's what I wanted to hear...now let's see that put into action! We've already seen up to the July solicitations and still no sign of the big guy. So when does he appear? Could he perhaps be the surprising person chosen as the host of the Phoenix in AvX #5? Will he have his full power levels or still have to rely on his soldier skills going forward? I know, I know...wait and see...

And what makes the fact that a host is chosen in issue 5 even less of a big deal is the fact that it's not even half way through the event. There's still 7 issues left to change things more at that point.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

He teased that Marvel has some plans overall for Marvel Boy as well, and Brian Michael Bendis would be working with that character's long term fate.

More to suggest Bendis going cosmic.

Drat, there goes my hope of Marvel Boy biting it during the midst of Avengers vs X-men.

It's repetitive for those of us who pay attention to these things on the Internet, but not everyone who attends conventions is as plugged in as we are.

Excellent, confirmation that 'Wolverine & the X-Men' will focus on Wolverine, allowing me to stop buying the comic before the crossover starts.

That's the problem with Marvel, changes NEVER stick. which makes most of their "Events" a waste of time and money. At least DC has some balls and makes major changes.
