Marvel Comics Presents established Man Thing's touch is fatal if the exposure is prolonged. Seeing as how Hyperion wasn't going anywhere given the state he was in and Cage said there was no evidence of him left at the scene, leaving him to conclude he escaped without leaving a trace behind, I'd say it's less ambiguous and more clear he's dead after they stomped him out and sicced Man-Thing on him.
If this is the same "King" Hyperion from Exiles (and I truly hope it isn't, since Grievioux butchered the character for a cheap jobbing with Blue Sue) he has previously rejuvenated from "death", when over half his body was blown apart. If this is the same character, no matter what Man-Thing did... he should be able to heal himself enough to return.

Have they said what the DA roster is going to be?
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

Who are some of the important supporting players in "Dark Avengers?"
PARKER: One character who's been missing or rather developing -- Man-Thing -- returns! And Mach-V is going to have to pull off some serious feats to help Luke.
