Hey Batman has Court of Owls. I'd love to see a Superfamily event at some point. Not necessarily now. More Supergirl appearances in other books the better!

Eventually, sure but, for now, she seems to have only been out of her pod for about a week...maybe 2.
She doesn't seem to have slept since leaving Argo (after being pinned there by Reign), or eaten...
Going by the timeline, I'm fine with her not interacting with Kal just yet - it takes a while to get used to the fact that your baby cousin is now older than you...![]()
I haven't heard anything about any Worldkiller event? D: That'd be pretty sweet.
Just got through with it and thought it was pretty fun. Miss Asar's art though, and the writer(s) seemed to have trouble distinguishing between Irish and Scottish ;)
I think a closer relationship to Superman really benefits him more than her. Superman can't relate to Kara's situation of coming to another alien place when you have lived an entire life somewhere else, Siobhan can. Superman's story as the 'ultimate immigrant' is not really the story of most immigrants, Supergirl's is. She's the irish peasant that landed on Ellis Island to start a new life. If anything Superman is like a second generation immigrant or someone who is mixed race if we want to use analogies.
This was probably my favorite book that I picked up last week. Visually I'm still going to have to get used to her new costume (I'm not sure what was wrong with her old one), but I like the progression of her story so far, it's very entertaining.
I always felt her old one was overly connected to Earth fashions. Especially for a character who actually grew up on Krypton and even pre-Flashpoint I don't think their were many examples of Kryptonians wearing mini-skirts.
I'm not saying the new one is perfect, but it makes more sense to me that she'd wear a costume that drew from the fashions of her birth culture more than the world she crashed on.
Read the issue today, I liked it well enough.
I didn't realize how much Asrar's art contributes to my enjoyment of this book until it was gone, but I will say that I preferred Perez's hairstyling - it was less severe than usual which I think complements the already angular costume.
I'm interested to see what happens, I'm glad that they are finally playing around with a villain I recognize!
I agree wholeheartedly! I didn't expected to like her so much right after she gets introduced to the DCnU.
I gotta say this issue is, by far, the best of the series. Kara's character shows much better when contrasted with her new friend. As for the art, I think Perez isn't as good as he once was, but I adored the fact that he drew Kara and Siobhan very differently; I really hope that all the differences in their features won't be lost with Mahmud Asrar's come back (and I DO love Asrar's art)!
BTW it's probably just me, but I have to say that Siobhan's appearance reminds me somewhat of 90's Superboy: the jacket, the hair style... she even has the earrings.![]()
