IGN got the preview, here it is
It is my favorite book of the N52, but I am not thrilled at Perez's artwork in general. We will have to see. I did not read the preveiw, just glanced over it, but it still looks awesome!
Those sure are some nervous soldiers.
Their dialogues reminded me of the scared subway cop from Die Hard 3:
"- D-d-d-dont move!"
Yeah, they're all like, "She's got her hands up. She must be getting ready to blast us." But, putting up your hands up is a sign of submission.
Perez artwork = snoooze.... It's just not dynamic. His linework is very heavy, and I'm not a fan of his stylistic rendering of faces. Just not a fan. I'll pass.
Ok, I miss the pre-Flashpoint Supergirl, but I will admit that this Supergirl is growing on me.
Just wish she would get rid of the red crotch...
I just glanced over the preview but... Siobhan speaks Kryptonian? Quelle surprise! I always wondered how Kara could become friends with someone she could not understand.
This is the issue for which I have been waiting! Issue number eight, consider yourself bought.
does anyone here hope Supergirl massacres those soldiers?
Always one of the best books month to month, often the best and this looks like another knockout. Asrar is a big reason for it bur Perez llooks fine here.
I didnt expect perez to draw kara so well, but he did,she looks great here, way better than in the superman book.
Dont mess with the "S"
If Asrar needs a fill-in for a month I think Perez is more than suitable enough. And while I don't think he handle Kara near as well, it still means the book looks good on the inside.
I'm looking forward to seeing what's done with Siobhan/Silver Banshee is all kinds of awesome. I like the addition of her being able to pick up languages. It's now very possible for Kara to gain a life on Earth without going through Superman, and as much as I want to see that bond expanded on. I like the possibility of Kara starting her life on Earth independent of him.
This looks decent but Mahmud Asrar is the man and really makes this title.
Don't care if I get blasted George Perez's work here looks wonderful
and for a second I thought Kryptonian was going to be similar to Irish Gaelic for them to communicate
A Happy supporter of Indie comics and B-list heroes

Yeah. I really hate how those soldiers come across.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
