Absurd. That's what you get when you let people vote who read little else.
Although Snyder was great on Detective he's been thoroughly disappointing on Batman.

Awesome. There will be haters, but this is totally the right book to win.

Not unexpected baed on how awesome the book has been, but I don't really count the title as "new" nor would I count any of the New 52 titles that were books prior to the relaunch. That's why I voted I, Vampire.

this is one of my favorite new 52 books, but i don't see how it's "new" at all. Maybe that's why The Eisner Awards choose to leave this category out this year, cause wouldn't DC's entire line be ALL "new" titles.
once a year CBR seems to have people vote on their favorite superhero, looks like batman gets to win twice this year

Isn't exactly a book i would define new but it is great regardless. Might sound petty but one thing i do really like is that Capullo has done all the issues with no fill-in.

I feel if more people were reading "Journey into Mystery," it would have won, or at least gotten more votes. I've enjoyed "Batman," but JIM has been great. For the record, I've also enjoyed "Daredevil" more than "Batman."

I've tried virtually all the new 52 titles and have no problem with Batman winning. From top to bottom the creative team have killed it.

Though its not my choice for new series series overall (that'd be Daredevil or JiM) I'd say its definitely one of if not the best one DC publishes nowawdays.

you know you make absolutely zero sense 99% of the time, right? Please, explain to me how people voting for their favorite title, and the one with the most votes winning, is a failed system.
