Cap gets the urge to , once and for all, see if Bucky died in the drone plane event. He and the Assemblers use Dr. Dooms Time machine to witness His last day. Of course things go wrong and they materialize in the past. It leads into Annual #2 but it's a great stand alone story and a tear jerker complete with John Buscema art.

I didn't read the entire run. I think I read like the first 15 issues. I just remember reading that issue and thinking it was one of the best single issues I ever read.
