The best single comic Charlton ever published? Hard to say -- I haven't read nearly as many as I'd like to. But I wouldn't be too surprised ... because IMHO it's one of the best single comics published by anyone.

Suddenly FF #57 jumps out at you... with the best cover in the title's history. The story not only lives up to its promise, but provides readers with the biggest Holy Swearword! moment of the decade: Doom actually steals the POWER COSMIC from the pure naive Surfer. Thus begins the best Lee-Kirby-Sinnott 4-parter of the Silver Age.

I actually liked them all quite a bit - # 12 was my favorite, but only by like .000001%.
