Am still thinking its the faux crossover with Superman.
Irene Adler: “I would have you right here on this desk until you begged for mercy twice.”
Sherlock: “I’ve never begged for mercy in my life.”
Irene: “Twice.”
I hope you're right, because that could mean that some of the boost would last at least through this month, when Orion is still in Superman. Hanley says that the "We Can Be Heroes" blank covers have routinely brought a sales jump, though, and that would be a one-month deal, so I'm not counting on this to continue.

Just to clarify: Wonder Woman had two different variant covers (besides the normal cover) last month: the We Can be Heroes blank cover, and the Mad Magazine Cover.
It's the We Can Be Heroes variant that looks like it might be responsible for the sales boost. Wonder Woman was, if I'm right, the only book with a "We Can Be Heroes" blank variant cover in April 2013. So, it is "the full set," by itself (for that month).According to Tim Hanley, this blank variant has caused other books to have good sales boosts when they've had it in the past, but I don't have first-hand knowledge or details. Apparently, people like to get these blank covers and then bring them to conferences or other creator appearances and get sketches or signatures on them.
Wonder Woman also had a Mad Magazine variant, but most of the other comics with those did not get a boost, so I'm assuming (as is Hanley) that that's not the reason for Wonder Woman's success.
