My store doesn't work like this, I am in no way obligated to buy more issues after I've cancelled a title. I canceled JLI after the second issue, I did not have to then buy issues 3 and 4.

Short of PRE-paying, I see not way of them to enforce it. And if you try to make me pre-pay for anything you're losing my patronage.

To support Brett a bit here, I have been to comic shops that require a long-term commitment (2-3 issues after cancelation). I have also been to those that don't. In my experience, it varies a lot. It's one reason I've often avoided a pull list - I'm a comic commitment-phobe.

So long as we're clear that not every store is like Brett's, different stores have different plans. And I'm with Rob_Olivera here, if my store worked like Brett's then I wouldn't purchase my comics there. It just seems like a really off system. But I guess if it works for that store and the custoner is willing to go with it, then more power to them.

47,229 in June. A 3% decrease from May. Second best sales for female-led book, behind Hit-Girl #1.

Overall an 8% drop in readership since the revelations in issue 7. Not as bad as I expected.

Wonder Woman ranked 33 for July--a slight improvement over her June ranking of 37. Among titles with female leads, Wonder Woman is still behind the Silk Spectre miniseries, but now ahead of Marvel's Hit Girl (which started in June) as well as Batgirl, Batwoman and everything else. The index for Wonder Woman is 35.90--just slightly down from 36.26 in June.

Bleeding Cool has speculative numbers up.

Wonder Woman sold 45,669 copies. After Silk Spectre, she was the top-selling female-led series for both companies. She also sold more than Marvel's debut of Captain Marvel #1.

Awesome news! Here is the link....

    Yeah.
    July
    #33 - Wonder Woman #11 - 45,669 copies

    June
    #37 - Wonder Woman #10 - 47,229 copies

Up 4 positions from last month. Down 1,560 copies. That means 3,3%.

T the way i look at these sales is, if you take away BW and AVX Wonder Women would be 24 on the list.

Places are totally artificial -- the book lost a few readers last month -- how does that compare with similar titles in terms of percentage/raw numbers?
Some days a girl wants to ride ponies. Some days a girl wants to punch tanks. Today ... is a tank day.

Almost every title looses readers each month. Titles selling around or more than her lost anywhere from 2.5 to 4.5%. She lost 3.3%, which seems to be the average. Titles like Aquaman, Superman, Green Lantern, Batgirl, Avengers, ,Teen Titans, and Flash all lost around the same amount of readers. Her title is still selling strong, along with many title post New 52.

Placement may not mean much to some, but I prefer seeing her in the Top 40, and would place even higher if big events weren't going on, instead of lingering in the 70s or 80s. That happened way too often in her publishing history.
