I really liked the Marv story in the first movie, but not so much the rest of the movie. I'll probably wait to see this one on HBO.
Everything burns...
I never got the appeal of this movie, other than stripper Jessica Alba.
I'll believe it when I see it. I loved Sin City, but this sequel has been promised for a long time already. Wish more studio films tied as closely to the source material as this first film did.

To be honest while I liked the first film, I'm at the point now of "Why bother", a few years ago I would have made a point of seeing it in the cinema but the long drawn out wait and tease has only made me apathetic.
A Dame to Kill For, imo, was pretty weak storywise. The first movie took the 3 best SC stories and did them decent justice. I really don't see this one being as good, especially with new material as Miller's best days have long, LONG passed by now.
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me are people that think Final Crisis is good.
Well, it's being written by the guy who did Edge of Darkness and The Departed.

The worst part about Alba's lack of nudity is how in the books Nancy is shown clothes maybe two or three times (including when she was a kid). What the hell Alba.
Anyway, super stoked about this. The first movie is one of my favourites, just awesome. I hope they get Mickey Rourke back for another round of Marv. Honestly, I hope they shoot "Silent Night" and "Just Another Saturday Night" too, just in case Rourke doesn't want to come back again.
If a trailer actually gets released, then I'll believe it. This is like the third or fourth time they've "officially" went into production.
I hope this project works out. Sin City was pretty amazing. Mostly because I really liked the style of the cinematography.
