If Thor defeated Demogorge he can beat everyone on the planet. Probably at the same time.
Demogorge eats gods..... as in plural.

I have to read the book to see how it was done but if it was just a punch-out between the two and Thor won.... he got a tremendous upgrade.

Agreed, Again, hes not storming Utopia. HES GOING TO FIGHT THE FREAKIN' PHOENIX!

as pointed out the X-men had trouble with one of the worthy (as did every other hero basically) Thor one-shotted one of them then smacked the other into sub-orbit.

my money is on the Thunder god.

Well he didn't exactly fist fight him. He was inside him and attacked his heart.

EDIT: Damn that second part sounds homoerotic LOL.

Yea but we all know how wildly inconsistent Thor has been lately. On one hand, he's doing things like you just described, and on the other, he gets "taken down" by falling into a jeep when Bendis is writing. I mean ...seriously?

Anyway, if Thor wanted to destroy Utopia, he wouldn't even need to land. He could just blast it from the sky. Magneto would be the only problem up there, and that's if he responds quick enough. Thor is also very resistant to telepathy. But Thor never goes all out, and he never tries to murder fellow heroes, it's just how it is.

But there is a reason they sent Thor into space after the Phoenix and not to Utopia. He could storm Utopia all by himself and it would be a very shor tevent
Wouldn't Thor need atmosphere and matter to make magic Mjolnir work? In space Thor really doesn't have any power over storms and Ice, but he could arguable have teleportation ability. But the Phoenix is travelling at the speed of light. Thor would have to create a vortex before the Phoenix arrives so the light of Phoenix just beams into the vortex.

    Thor bleeds, right?

Well IF Magneto wanted to, he could stop the iron in his blood to his brain. Game over.

Unless, of course, Marvel has since retconned his ability to do that. It is a little on the OP side.

In Chaos War: Thor #1 you see Thor using his Lightning abilities in space. Magic > Nature.

Yep, he even summoned a thousand world storm in space.

Said Storm would sink Utopia and take out most of it's residents. It's no coincidence that Captain America (and Marvel comics) decided to send Thor into space to face the Phoenix, dude is freaking powerful.

The only mutants that could definitely take Thor down are Legion (the God mutant) or Franklin Richards.

Thor doesn't need air, why would stopping his blood work?

And it'd have to work fast enough to keep Thor from knocking you into orbit.

That is a good point. Inconsistency is Thor's greatest weakness.

Yeah. I'm still waiting for the part where Hawkeye says, "Hi Thor. Thanks for helping us beat up that thing, in that place recently". And Thor saying, "What Thing"? Hawk: "You know. You used that club thing you.. always..have.. You have a Hammer". "Yes Mjolnir. Do not rile be bowman". Just so we know that Tanarus was switched out and the Avengers are scratching their head. Maybe They didn't even notice the switch out when the spell was broken? Maybe the Avengers just translated, Thor is Tanarus?
