What do you think? I'm biased because Hathaway is one of my least favorite actresses but as a fan of Nolan I think this might be his first mis-step. She doesn't look very disguised and the Adam Hughes Catwoman seems like something that would look better on film.

I like it from the neck down, although I'm still going to miss the claws and whip. They could have easily "fit in" to Nolan's realistic batverse as climbing tools for her, but oh well. Her headwear looks a mess, though I do kinda like how her domino mask looks like a masquerade ball mask. The goggles as cat ears are still stupid.

Overall, it will do. At the end of the day, I'm glad they didn't end up going with a generic shiny leather bodysuit akin to Returns' Catwoman. I think that was a little bit too expected for Nolan, and it's good to have some variation.

Completely agree with you. The suit itself doesn't look that bad but the headwear seems to be the problem (especially those cat ears!). If they combined that suit with the Adam Hughes goggles it'd look a lot better. I wonder how she'll do her acrobatics in high heels though, they might get in the way of running.

    I like it.

The ears could have been done better but it's not a deal breaker. I would've prefer a mask more like the current comic Catwoman has though, but still not a deal breaker.

I'm biased towards Anne Hathaway though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt :)

Surely you mean the Darwyn Cooke goggles?
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

The costume has grown on me. Looking forward to Selina cracking skulls with those heels.

I'm not that familiar with the more modern comics version of Catwoman (aside from Hush and Arkham City), did he create that look for her? It's great.

Yeah, the current costume in the comics and video game were designed by Darwyn Cooke in 2001, when Catwoman was getting her third volume ongoing.

I like it and expect her to really surprise people with her portrayal of the character.

Sooo.....would that be a Batlet as opposed to a tablet?

I actually like the Catwoman design. I realize it's a throwback to the 60s look, but it's working for me. I love Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns, but I don't think the look would have worked for Hathaway/DKR, so I'm glad Nolan had the sense not to emulate it.

I actually like the costume a lot and these latest pics of hers look really good. Can't really tell whether she's going to knock our socks off until we see her in action.

I love it as well. As others have said before, I love how Nolan is paying an homage to the 60s television show, that it looks like it fits in Nolanverse etc. etc. I loved Pfeiffer's catwoman and the costume she wore -- I thought its sharp, patched, sewn-together aesthetic reflected the desperate, vengeful, somewhat off-kilter psyche of Catwoman in Burton's film, whereas judging from these pictures Nolan's Selina seems relatively more... practical/professional? As in it seems they've really put the fact that she's a thief into consideration, what with the (I assume) functional belt.

I do kind of wish they'd kept Selina's hair short -- I do love the 60's-inspired look, but I didn't start reading Catwoman until the Darwyn Cooke redesign, so I've always imagined Selina with short hair. But this is a small nitpick. I want to say with a hundred percent certainty that Hathaway will do a good job in the role, but I won't. I've liked her in other films, but I'm reserving full judgement until I see the movie.

I'm simultaneously really looking forward to TDKR as much as I am seeing the Nolanverse end. Would love to see a Cooke design on the big screen. It's kind of funny how of like the 100 characters that got redesigns of the New 52, Catwoman came through completely untouched.
