Yeah, the old man line seemed kinda rude for him. True, Haven't been following him in a while, but that's not the kind of thing I picture him saying.

I'm intrigued by the reference to the 'death of Pontus' on pg. 4. Pontus was a primordial Greek sea god. The 'death of the Nautilus' made me think of Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." It would be very weird for Captain Nemo to pop up in this story.

Are the running subtitles along the bottom of the page written in Greek? It's very hard to see on my tiny netbook.

I think it's supposed to be in ancient atlantean...

Why is Namor talking rebuilding Atlantis. Wasn't it already rebuilt during Parkers last run of Agents of Atlas? From what I remember, it was a bigger, better, more secure city, deep within the depths of the Pacific Ocean. How much damage did it sustain during the Fear Itself event?

Attuma smashed it up when he was possessed by one of the Hammers. That led into a team-up of Namor, Strange, Silver Surfer, Lyra, and Loa which hinted at a Defenders reunion. They didn't beat Attuma, but they did free the Atlanteans from a mind-control device and keep Attuma from leading an army onto land.

the atlantean city in agents of atlas was named "oceanus." also, from that same story, the atlantean geneticist remarks at how atlantis is more than just one city - it is a united republic spreading across the oceans. oceanus was just the newest (atlantis has coral technology that lets them grow new cities at very quick rates) colony. right now, the capitol city of new atlantis sits below the shores of utopia, which is where namor keeps his throne. however, something may be happening to utopia to make namor want to move the capitol city to a new location.

it did make me wonder as well, tho... time will tell.
