Thats how you've got to write this bbig team flag ship titles. A lot of comical dialogue, and conversations, than beautiful art and splash pages.

But on a serious note the first 6 issues we got nonstop action. Really it was during issue 7 that we got the sense of the really intriguing stuff happening off-panel, and even than we had some action with them taking down that random villain.

Uh, I'm sorry, but NOTHING can be as bad as Avengers under Bendis (except for Mr. Terrific). I made the mistake of buying Avengers 24.1, even after reading Bendis' New Avengers run, but I couldn't help it. I wanted to see Vision again a lot. And....yeah, it was awful. It basically treated the entire House of M event like it happened in a single issue. Very confusing for someone who didn't read House of M (thankfully I knew what happened already). All Vision has to hear is that Wanda was behind House of M, and he automatically goes to She-Hulk and confronts Magneto. And that ending scene with Captain America.....I kind of felt like tearing up the issue.

This preview seemed okay. I gave a half-smile at the Batman/Green Lantern banter which is the most positive emotion this title has evoked from me yet. I'm still waiting for this to get as good as I know it could get.

I didn't laugh at anything in the preview. I still am not happy with how all of the characters are being written. Why don't they just call this "Hal Jordan and Friends"? I honestly feel like Hal is the one running the league and it's bothering me. I of course want Batman to be the leader because I love Batman, but I can live with Superman being the leader due to his prestige.

But how am I supposed to be alright with Hal as the focal point? I mean, I haven't even gotten an answer as to why Hal has a ring in this and yet he doesn't have a ring in the actual Green Lantern title. It just feels like, to me, that Hal should not have been the Green Lantern in this series after the initial arc. They could have quickly explained that Hal is "going through some things" and then tossed in Rayner.

Idk, I guess this book just isn't for me considering I have multiple issues with this title besides the Green Lantern aspect.

Hal isn't the leader; he's just the most talkative member. This version of the Justice League (so far) doesn't seem to have a clear leader.

I mean, I do know that Hal isn't he leader, however it may be that because this version doesn't seem to have a clear leader that I am having more issues with the book then I should. To me, no matter what type of team, there needs to be leader. I feel like Geoff John's is just giving Hal more of an important role in this Justice League because of how much he loves the character. Now, I am all for him having a favorite but things just don't feel balanced right now in multiple places. I would also be alright with things not being as balanced due to the fact that the team hasn't been together for very long, but I don't feel like that is the angle John's is going for either.

Idk, I have said it more then once that I love John's work normally, just not so much on this series. No biggie, just bums me out a little because I really wanted to love this book.

I bet that Johns doesnt know how to write n52 superman or how to make him mesh with the other members in the JL. New 52 superman is too complex for his one note JL characterisations.

Slightly inconvenient, but not a life threatening situation, and Cyborg can reboot his systems after a bit and teleport them to the right location.

But Apocalypse. Thats kind of a big deal. I mean basically an entire planet of super-powered creatures ready to kill on cite. Thats not like a "Ooops my bad guys," and everything is forgiven. LOL man I didn't even think of it like that.
I'm just waiting everyone else to screw up big time.. Superman has to heatvision someones face off by accident now.
Rogue and Bishop's daughter would be called Discharge, and she'd touch people and drain all or some of their bioelectrical energy out of them causing them to either die or fall unconscious. She could then use this energy to extend her own life, heal herself, enhance her physical abilities (speed, strength, stamina,) or discharge it as various energy beams.

I know I'm very late to this conversation, but this preview looks pretty entertaining to me. Looking forward to getting a hold of a copy of this and giving it a read.

I really don't know what to think of this title month after month, it just keeps getting worse. Sure, it's good to see Amazo, but the dialogue is horrible. I think 3 books is too much for Johns to do at once, and Justice League is the one that suffers because I love Aquaman. Pretty sure I'm dropping this for Earth-2 next month.
