thanks for the link, that was pretty funny. looks good to me!
Batman defeated Amazo pretty much by himself in Under the Hood, dont see why this time he was so difficult
Ok, I have to admit it, I love the interactions Johns is doing between Hal and Batman. I laughed, and it was an honest laugh.
That art is pretty rough. The story doesn't seem much better. Also, I can't stand the references to past events since no one has any knowledge of them. Aquaman has a gripe with Green Arrow? That'll take Johns 40+ issues to explain given his current pacing.
Action Comics, Animal Man, Batman Inc, Constantine, Earth 2, Flash, Green Arrow, Justice League, Justice League Dark,JLA, Saga, Stormwatch, Swamp Thing, Supergirl, Superman & Uncanny Avengers
The "Because he's Batman" line is something I'd expect fans to say, not someone actually in the Justice League. You can easily tell this is being written by a fanboy.
No he's a fanboy in general. I didn't mean that like Johns wrote that line to show how cool Batman is. The "Because he's Batman" has become sort of an inside joke because of Batman's nigh-deux ex machina abilities. So having characters in-story talk like that is just cheesy. I mean someone like Grant Morrison is a fanboy too, but he doesn't write like one.
Also, I don't know why Johns is turning Hal Jordan into Daffy Duck.

Looks great.
-Hal/Batman was hilarious.
-I found it interesting that Cyborg could occasionally port everyone over Apokolips unintentionally.
-Wonder what the Green Arrow/Aquaman past is all about...
-Art was pretty good. Though, Supes looked great.
Looking forward to it.
"I'm Batman" can be cheesy, but it's a cheesy that doesn't disturbs me. I remember Dwayne McDuffie doing the same thing during his run on the JL book.
If you want to complain about Johns' corniness, look at the "Super Friends" joke. He uses it both in issue 6 and issue 7 and in both cases it is forced and unfunny as hell.
Wow, I never expected a JL book to seem so....fun. I loved the humor in the preview. Looking forward to this one.
