Default Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld for Wave 3!

I think it is well known that the MLP is quickly becoming the most popular tv show of all time and I think DC should tap into that movement and produce quality female books for males. We already have Supergirl, but I want moar and I think DC should bring back Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld book.

    Anyone here support me?

It would have to distinguish itself from the nu52 herd with a strikingly different mood. Put a good-girl artist on it and keep him relatively in check, and it might work.
Superhero comic books only become art to the extent that their banal, unrealistic fantasy and garish styles go too far and become interesting. Attempts to ground them in reality can only ruin them.

    MLP?

For me, it depends on creative team, but I'd give it a shot.

What does this have to do with WW though?

Ah, gotcha. No worries. She's welcome here. :)

I haven't read any Amethyst (or I don't remember reading any if I did), but I think it's got potential. Maybe Zola is really Amethyst?

    Diana needs a pony!

Is it really that popular of a show? I haven't seen it.

there is an entire movement of young males who watch the show and buy its merchandise, they call themselves bronies. Lauren Faust the same person who did Powerpuff girls and is currently doing DC's Super Best Friends Forever shorts also directs the show.

Bronies? Ok. Cool. I'm so out of touch.

And I want a Super Best Friends animated series stat! With ponies!

I remember reading this book. It was really a very captive book in the beginning, but then as the issues progressed they got a different artist, different mood, and lost its edge. I dropped it.

Today's mentality is different.. I'd give it another shot for 2 or 3 issues and see what they'd do with it, but I'm really picky with the kind of artwork I like and I'd have no qualms with dropping it if it wasn't to my liking.
