Default Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld for Wave 3!

I think it is well known that the MLP is quickly becoming the most popular tv show of all time and I think DC should tap into that movement and produce quality female books for males. We already have Supergirl, but I want moar and I think DC should bring back Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld book.

    Anyone here support me?

It would have to distinguish itself from the nu52 herd with a strikingly different mood. Put a good-girl artist on it and keep him relatively in check, and it might work.
Superhero comic books only become art to the extent that their banal, unrealistic fantasy and garish styles go too far and become interesting. Attempts to ground them in reality can only ruin them.

    MLP?

For me, it depends on creative team, but I'd give it a shot.

What does this have to do with WW though?

That could be fun if done right.

Well, they just need to make it happy, family friendly and humorous and it will be different from the rest of the reboot books.

I remember reading this book. It was really a very captive book in the beginning, but then as the issues progressed they got a different artist, different mood, and lost its edge. I dropped it.

Today's mentality is different.. I'd give it another shot for 2 or 3 issues and see what they'd do with it, but I'm really picky with the kind of artwork I like and I'd have no qualms with dropping it if it wasn't to my liking.

If Wonder Woman does get an all-ages title, maybe Amethyst could get her start as a backup story!

There..made a connection for this thread in the Wonder Woman forum!

If it's a good creative team and previews looked good, I wouldn't be against giving the first issue a shot.

Unless the creative team was someone I really just didn't like anything by in the past, I'd be in for this book. Get George Perez on the art (he did a lot of covers for the initial maxi-series and I believe some for the regular series) and I would be all in on this book.
