I finally got around to reading #25. I like the concept of the Adaptoids and the Descendents, but I thought the villain character designs were just awful, which took alot of the enjoyment out of this arc for me.

Val and Venom? Maybe they can double date with Carol and Peter Parker.

    Widow is with Bucky.

    Beast is with Brand.

    Brian is with Megan.

    Hawkeye is with Spider-Woman.

Val and Venom are the only ones left.

It's great to see how Remender brings an inter weaved tale between his two books at Marvel; SA, UXF Winter Soldier and Daredevil and my current Marvel favorites and I look forward to all three having long and healthy runs under their current creator teams.

    Late to the party here...

Intrigued by the memories Jim is given of the origins of The Descendents.

Given his use in Uncanny X-Force recently, and the deliberate use of a magic artifact from Otherworld, can we assume that 'Brother' was actually Captain Britain's Father, Sir James Braddock - born in Otherworld and resident in England until his death at the hands of one of his own AI creations?

I really hope so. Sir James' shady past has often been hinted at, but no truly finite detauils of his time on Earth 616 have been set in stone.

Ummmm... I've never heard the word "Donnybrook" and I'm 27 years old. My boyfriend, nor my house-mates know it either; all in our twenties. So Captain Britain not knowing it isn't entirely implausible. Is it a "sophisticated" word, or a common word? Braddock might be too well-bred to know it

I doubt that. He's not really proper aristocracy, you know. :)

Is Donnybrook more likely to be Scottish or Irish in origin? I'm not sure.

I would have liked a better resolution than the SA thinking they won, but in reality they lost and did not destroy the city as they think, were completely fooled, and only succeeded in furthering Father's plans and having a cyborg duplicate traitor in their midst.

    Questions.

Did Ant-Man actually die a couple of issues ago?

From the cover above, the story picks up again in issue #29 after the AvsX issues I am not buying?
