So on the upcoming Saturday at 5 PM Pacific/6 Mountain/7 Central/8 Eastern, before the group photo on top of the Baxter Building, I'm going to be hosting a friendly card tournament. The tournament is open to pretty much everyone who wishes to attend.

The prize? I'm sitting on a Classic Wolvie code. Winner takes all.

There's a catch, however. In order to make this tournament friendly to all players, decks may only consist out of cards from the Rise of Heroes set. These cards are free, are owned in some part by everyone, and the entire set can be purchased by depositing a good deal of silver into the packs. This can largely be accomplished even before Saturday. So if you want that Classic Wolvie code, sign up!

Pre-registration isn't required but it's nice, so I can get a sense of who can play and who cannot. Rounds will be conducted single elimination. They'll be best two out of three unless I get a lot of RSVPs, and then we'll have the opening rounds be one-shot-and-you're-out.

Hopefully everyone can get out there, have some fun, try out the card game and have some friendly competition with your squaddies!

Only Rise of Heroes cards? That's freakin' genius. Pretty much no one has had a deck like that since they started. It'll be a real challenge to build a deck with such limited options. For those who don't know what cards are in the set check out the wiki page. Definitely count me in!

No there isn't - I would use the wiki images cut and paste in MS paint to play around building this deck
