Hi Jason, fellow newb here! What's your squad name?

From research, yes, you will lose access to your Agent only heroes when the sub runs out, but you retain those squad levels, so just work on maxing your Agent only heroes first (I'll miss playing as a few of them though, they are so good :'(). Gold-only heroes are pretty much available to everyone in game (all Agent-only heroes are silver IIRC) so you still get access to them when the sub ends.

I think you get 160 or 170 gold from the wheel every day, plus 20 a day from logging in on the 8th consecutive day onwards. Adding to that the 500 from the sub and after doing a bit of math, I reckon you can get a minimum of 9 heroes (assuming 600 gold each, unless you go for a 1200 gold character), or a maximum of 18 heroes if you only buy those on sale. It is much better value to subscribe!

Level up - collect tokens, troublebots, take part in missions. Collecting tokens is actually a good way to level up your heroes fast, but once you reach the last few levels you should put them through a few missions (battle or card) for that extra push.

Hi all!

Made the switch to SHSO about 2 weeks ago after an acrimonious encounter with the *other* Marvel free-to-play game. I have to admit I was quite put off by the kid-friendly interface of the game initially, but there's quite a bit of depth in this one (not to mention Loads and Loads of Characters)! There's quite a bit of humour in the game as well, and honestly who doesn't love to play with adorable superheroes? It impressed me so much that it was an easy decision to snag a month's membership to see how it goes, and absolutely no regrets so far!

It's gonna be sad not being able to play IM/BW/DP when my membership ends, but at least I'll have enough gold to buy other heroes! (Come on, put the Punisher on sale. :D) I'm hesitant about getting a 6-month subscription, but I might if 1) Marvel Heroes turns out to be crappy 2) the update schedule for the game improves from the mess it was during Avengers month and 3) they release more new heroes like Squirrel Girl or the Monkey King. I wouldn't mind getting another 1-month membership just for more gold though.

Anyway, I'm just mostly glad that there's a forum to properly discuss the goings-on in this game. It's been a wonderful read!

I may just send an email to gazillion and ask them. lol If agent only lvls don't stick to your squad after sub ends then I may hold off on those guys until I'm sure I'll stick with this game.

When you subscribe you get +50 to your level that stays along with the levels from your Agents-Only heroes when your sub ends.

Started off strong but the eventually repetitive gameplay, terrible administration and support, (previously) random pricing for limited items, arbitrary deadlines for quests and items, constant and drastic hero downgrades, buggy interface and most crucially lack of consistent new content should all kill it slowly.

When your subscription ends you no longer have access to the Agent Only heroes but your squad level, earned tickets, gold and silver and progress in the challenges stays the same. I am 100% positive in the accuracy of this answer.

Oh I got to a point where I couldn't advance any further without buying game money or a particular type of gem. Or beg people on Facebook for stuff. I think I lasted maybe 3 or 4 days on that one. Though I would do some of the airplane missions while I was doing other stuff in SHSO. I thought everything about it was horrible. I'd have been better off drawing out heroes, glueing em to popsicle sticks and given myself a puppet show.
