Hmm looks pretty different from what I was expecting of the Thor previewed a year ago, at least the helmet seems different.

For some reason I imagined BA Thor was going to be based on the Marvel NOW! costume, still could be the one shown in the slide though.

The silhouette is usually a match for the character, which seems to be more of a standard winged helmet than the slide's antler-like helmet...

To be honest, the Marvel NOW! look doesn't seem all that different/worth a separate entry. It seems like some other characters have gotten more of a facelift and are more deserving of having a playable version of their Marvel NOW! suit. However, I'm not sure how popular the 80s battle armor is or what the angle on releasing that would be... seems kind of random, though it is a striking look for him.

Well if costumes looking similar to one another would be a problem I would have never imagined we would get Ben Riley Spider-Man but we still did (and I know it's not another costume from the Peter Parker Spider-Man but it's still way too similar to the original one, at least to a none Spider-Man fan like me) but after seeing the actual costume I admit that I wouldn't have imagined we would get such an obscure costume for Thor, as you said yourself it seems a bit random but it is a looks that stands out from the rest.

Not sure what the angle on releasing any Thor really is... didn't we just shelve two of them? Feels like a bit of stop gap to be honest, throwing him out there because last week saw no new content and the next update isn't ready yet.

Since the CBR Codebreakers had no new codes to break last week and SOMEONE spiked the egg nog...they decided to have a contest to bring in the New Year.
