I think the word you are looking for is Antihero. An antihero is a protagonist who doesn't have heroic virtues. The antihero concept really became popular in comics in the 80's.

Not with all of them. Some of them are straight up villain protagonists (Punisher, Elektra, possibly Moon Knight, Deadpool half the time, and Hulk some of the time too) which is different than an anti-hero. Anti-heroes are people who are heroic, deep down, but have questionable methods. For example, if Punisher wasn't in his own book he'd be considered a villain. In fact, we have had several villains that did the same thing as Punisher, except they targeted supervillains. There was a legacy villain called "the Scourge of the Underworld" and Captain America himself has done his best to shut them all down. The Foolkiller (at least the second one) and the Sin-Eater were basically the Punisher if they weren't as good at it, and both were always villains, never "anti-heroes" or anything like that. Wolverine, however, is a classic anti-hero. I'd argue Cable is too, and maybe Ghost Rider, Blade, Gambit and Black Cat. Either way, the point is we already have a few characters who are villains, and a few who sometimes skirt the line between hero and villain.

I finally found a box of SHSO cards for 19.99 up here in Canada, but it was the last one... and not one Loot card :( me am sad. Now that I think about it, I think a neat way to get the Spider Armor hero and Iron man Arctic Armor would be to buy the packs of the cards in the game. I've been trying to find a spider armor card for a while now and when I do, it's either too expensive or they won't ship to Canada cause of stupid upperdeck rules they placed on stores, they aren't even allowed to sell cards on ebay apparently, unless they get special rights from them.

Yeah, a few people have said that they can't play the game and have the chatbox open at the same time. For a browser based game, it does seem to require a lot of resources to run.

Also, Angel is a great buy for 300 Gold! Very fast melee hero with self heal means that he's a lot of fun in missions.

Based on what has been told to me of what is in the code (game files) and the hints on the dev blog AND their Easter egg, I'm guessing Magneto on Wednesday.

That would be so great... I have only let one of my nieces and nephews know about the Magneto easter egg so far. So soon they may sit on a bench next to Magneto and go "Whaaaaa?!"

I have soloed with Classic Wolvie, Havok x2, Avengers Iron Man, Blade, & Black Panther. And I am gonna solo it once a day with different characters because it's kinda fun... and if I mess up I only mess it up for myself. I will do team ones as well, but if you really NEED a win I will pick a safer character... probably with a team buff.
