Stu Barnes over on the card thread and some others confirmed that ratio. Someone who works at one of the cards shops apparently backed it up, I think.

Was it packs or cards? I thought it was cards because there are only 240 per case but there are 300 cards to get.

Average of 1 in every 288 packs. At 24 packs per box, and 12 boxes per case, that's an average of 1 Spider Armor found in 2880 cards! Nice find Mr Roboto!

I did the same thing to you in-game yesterday, Atkinos... Got to know you and Enchantress right around the same time, so the associations didn't stick properly yet...!
Sorry about that! At least I got the she part right! :D

My Local Comic Store that pre-ordered boxes for my brother and I just got them in this morning. And my other LCS's haven't gotten them in yet. So although the "release day" was yesterday, some locations may not have them until the end of the week.

Also, not every TRU sells TCG's anymore... my locals have a much more limited supply than they used to, so it's best to call ahead. Maybe even print out the press release and show it to them/leave it with them, or write an email to TRU. Also, maybe post or contact the Upper Deck Entertainment division, which has it's own Facebook page, and perhaps they can help you locate a retailer.

Otherwise, I'd advise checking out dacardworld.com as they seem to sell individual Starters, 2-Player Decks, and Booster Boxes and from all accounts are quite reputable!

    Congrats, Yak Robot!

Yes, it is one per CASE. A Case is Box of Booster Boxes (not sure how many boxes are in the Case). There is one LOOT CARD per Booster Box, which could be Armored Spidey or it could be Snow Globes like Charles, Kirby Monster and myself all got... -_____-

Those shouldn't even be on loot cards. Those things are sold for Silver, and are basically worthless to most players. Well, okay, maybe kids love 'em... but I think I'd be pretty disappointed as a kid getting those.

You CAN get a LOOT Card from a Booster Pack in one of the Starter Decks though, as a kid at our Pre-Release did this weekend. And then he ran away after drawing it. Literally. Haha.

I have only opened up half of my Booster Packs thus far, but have already expanded my Wolverine and Hulk Starters with some sweet picks including the mighty Hulk card, Punch Out! I'm also working on a DD/Elektra deck, but don't quite have enough of them yet... Still 12 packs to open though!

Be sure to check out the Card Thread over the next days because I'll be posting some video and photos of some of the new cards and other goodies. :)

Haha... Stan Bush is the same gut who wrote "The Touch" which was in the 80's Transformers cartoon film, correct...?! Ever watch the BMX movie, RAD?! That one is full of EXCELLENT 80's songs, such as Send Me An Angel, Break The Ice, and Thunder In Your Heart. Montage material, all of them..!

After crashing again randomly in a mission (sorry, y'all, hahahaha), I do want to note that Spider Woman has a comment about Chrome Spidey that maybe people caught or didn't. I didn't catch the full comment, something like "Look, a chrome spider!", but it got muffled by other audio.

Thanks to you both. I was actually meaning, I thought it was 1 in every 288 cards. I guess I was lucky. Please don't mistake it for gloating. I'm not that type of person. The only reason I bought the card game was my 4 year old would have seen someone with Armored Spidey and would want to know how to get him. In all honesty, my son doesn't even know the card game exists in real life.

I'm sure at some point, they'll put him in the store like they did with Pure Elektra and Classic DD. Its just going to be a while.

BTW - This was the first time I purchased from Dave and Adams and it was flawless

Congrats to those who are finding the Chrome Spidey. I gave up on finding them at retail and have some coming from the dacardworld. I'm sure I'll buy a pack or two next time I have to get milk etc if they have them at Walmart.
Sad that there's nothing new in the store today. I leveled up avengers Cap and Wasp last night when I couldn't sleep so was looking forward to someone new. I usually play the card quests to help level characters up when I'm at work since running missions or cards vs real people wouldn't work because I might have to stop at a moment's notice and not play again for a few minutes. So, I'm not sure who I'll play cards as today. I'll just indulge my OCD and get as many green checkmarks as I can.

My 4 year old loves the in-game card game. If you have a ton of cards, try teaching your 4 year old how to play. You can ignore the card texts if you want, and just go by the numbers and colors for blocking and attacking. If I find a case locally, that's my plan.

Doubt we (all of us buying the cards) will be this bad. Years ago, there was some special insert card in baseball cards. Can't remember what or which company. Anyway, that insert made the pack heavier than a pack without the insert. Saw a guy with a digital scale weighing the packages so he would buy only the ones withe the insert.

I believe it's in Villainville, and I thought Gazillion locked it down in an update months ago. People had discovered it by accident, and Gazillion said it wasn't ready for prime time yet.

Any ideas as of how to "accidentally" discover it?
